This school is perfect for your kids, teachers are nice and helpful, and principals are doing a good job at keeping the kids together and making sure they’re not bullying others.

I’m a current student at Austintown and I hate it so much. Not only is it extremely overpopulated with students who do not behave in the slightest, the teachers do a terrible job of managing their behavior. We get legit screamed at by teachers everyday. Also, students do not care about their students learning. My current science, math, and social literacy teacher will assign an assignment with out explaining it at all. It also is an extremely political school when it comes to sports. I could go on and on about how much I hate this school.

When I went to this school, I was bullied like no other. The teachers did not care, the guidance office did not care, no one at this school cared about the bullying. If you are athletic or popular then you have nothing to worry about but I was bullied so hard that I left the school system entirely. I transferred school systems to go to a different high school so I wouldn't get stuck going to Fitch high school. It was the best decision I made in my entire life. Go anywhere else besides Austintown if you can. There is nothing but bullying and the start of drug use.

For a large school it doesn't feel like it! Great education. They push the kids to do better. Lots of options for education and activities.

I have 4 kids that go to AF and they all love it. Great teachers, great staff, great education, great athletic program !! They enforce a strict dress code and The teachers for the most part don't put up with disrespect. Before AF my kids went to an expensive private school. I think AF is A much better school.

I think this school is amazing, because the amazing, kind teachers are 'on top' of things inside and outside of the classroom. They get to know the students, and connect with the students on many different levels. In fact, they changed my life when I was going through a rough time after losing my mother. The teacher quality is amazing, the principals are also very great! The 8th grade principal is one of the kindest persons I have ever met! I don't know the other principals very well, but they seem very kind as well. I believe there is alot of opportunities for parental involvement, through scheduled meetings for a group directed towards guardians. The academic programs are also great, as the teachers are quick to help and are always reasonable. When the work is too difficult, they will give you tips and it is completely up to the student whether the work is challenging or not, as it all comes down to listening and study. The academics are reasonably challenging.
