I do not recommend this school only because of one person - reading specialist (unfortunately this website doesn’t let me say her name)She does not rate by knowledge level, but by her personal attitude towards students. Very biased and vindictive.

My child had a poor experience here. He was getting picked on by another child day in and day out. When my son finally retaliated the Principal blamed my son. I didn’t feel supported by the school when I came to them looking for resources to help children with divorced parents. Not to mention he had a 504 which was not followed despite the fact that we had 3 meetings to review his plan. Very disappointed.

Dedicated staff. Incredible , caring faculty. Well managed educational processes. Children are fully supported by an active PTA. Educational environment is fully defined and disciplined fairly enforced. As a result, children are well mannered and happy. Faculty is supported by a very active parent and grandparent volunteer program to include "Watch dogs", class mothers and class tutors. This is a great school!!

This school is the reason we chose to live where we do. When we were getting stationed here and looked at all of York County schools, this was a no Brainer. We love our Coventry elementary family and we only have one more year at that school so I'll be sad when my daughter moves on the middle school!

We love Coventry! The teachers are amazing, even with full classes they always give my son and daughter the personalized attention and encouragement that they need to be successful! My kids ENJOY learning and look forward to coming to school. The school also has a lot of great events and fundraisers throughout the year that the kids always look forward to. Because they work so hard to raise money for the school, Coventry is very up to date with the times and has computers and iPads for the students to use for some activities. The school is very clean and well kept, all of the chairs and equipment are well taken care of. The support, involvement and sense of community that the teachers and parents at this school have is beyond anything I have ever seen. We did get a new principle at the beginning of this year and he is phenomenal. He helps the students off the bus, in the cafeteria, on the playground. He also keeps parents informed of everything that goes on at the school and makes security and safety of the students his top priority. With education a close second, fun has to be the third! He and the gym teacher are always willing to do whatever it takes to help the kids have a good time and laugh! The school nurse is also incredible. My daughter has arthritis and our nurse goes above and beyond to make sure she has the best chance of being a normal little girl and helping her manage her condition. There are so many fabulous role models at this school. I am so very thankful that my children attend Coventry Elementary!

Bullying. Bad language. They are on their third principal in a year. I regret sending my children to this school.

This school has the greatest parent involvement of any school I've been to. The teachers are wonderful, and they accommodated my son's AD/HD perfectly. Worked with me on getting his IEP perfect for him.

The School supports many students with help. My child has Been dying to go back to school summer. I appreciate the consideration and respect it caused.
