It's very good indeed. There are many programs to join and make good friends with. Not many fights which is good and most kids are respectful.

I have received support from this school, whenever I have a question or my child needs help they respond quickly and look for a solution so that everything works well. My son really likes the teachers and especially the science one.

My experience at burncoat middle could only be described as ...overwhelming. Prior to attending BMS, I had been diagnosed with SAD, which lead to social isolation and frequent anxiety attacks. Despite having a 504k, I had not received any accommodations for my emotional disabilities (mainly due to the fact I was put in general Ed.) The school itself is vastly overpopulated (compared to the size of the building) and lacks proper maintenance (e.g. insects, school occasionally smelling of sewage.) majority of Faculty & staff lack compassion and understanding towards students and their teaching methods are largely one-dimensional. I had received minimal support (academically and emotionally/socially) and would have thrived even more than I did if I had been given the appropriate accommodations. My advice to anyone considering this school and has a child with an above average to superior IQ but displays deficits in areas such as social/emotional/executive functioning (e.g aspergers, adhd, depression, anxiety disorders ect.) ........ Don't.
