I am a teacher at New Beginnings and I have loved my time here! It is an honor serving these students and working with the committed and talented staff. I am so grateful to have found a place like this to work and to shape young minds!

It's disappointing to read a poor review about any school but especially about New Beginnings. Every school has its challenges. The primary focus of this school is to help those students who have struggled in a traditional high school setting. The administration and faculty will be the first to tell you that a day at NBHS is never boring but they will also tell you that the school provides more than an high school diploma for those willing to work and put in the time to achieve their goals. For students ages 16-24, NBHS removes obstacles and provides a safe environment for anyone seeking a New Beginning!

My child has attended this alternative school and the kids here are troubled, verbally and physically abusive, disobedient and have no respect for authority. There is a high turnover of teachers due to the difficulty handling these teens. The teachers who do remain become rude and hard in order to maintain order. It will be a challenge to graduate from this school with having some altercation with an ankle bracelet wearing offender. Food is awful too and the nice promo photos of the kids on the school vans reflect nothing like the kids who really attend this school...your child will come out a bitter hostile person after being at this school
