Unprofessional/ Inappropriate teachers that they did nothing about. Bad behavior from students. No punishment at all. Not well trained teachers with kids who have any type of mental disability or learning disability. Harassment from teachers. Not good education especially in mathematics. Will pay for Drug Tests by cutting hair but won’t suspend a misbehaved student. Rude behavior from teachers towards students. Rude behavior from staff towards students who don’t speak english well. Elementary school is ok. Middle school worst experience of my life. High school is manageable. School only cares about money. Unreliable education. Targeted by teachers. A lot of favoritism. I would not recommend coming from a students view. You can pay your way out of any situation and they want you to keep quiet about bad experiences within the school.

We were expats in Asia and Europe and moved to Orlando last year after moving around our son his whole life to different countries, but always following the IB curriculum when we could. We were a little worried about re-entry to the US, but WPS has been perfect for our son. All his teachers have been helpful and supportive as has been his counselor and the administrative staff. We are extremely happy here.

Children are happy and thriving. It is a safe, nurturing environment. We are thrilled and consider WPS the best and only option for our family.

While it's never ideal to have your child outside the safety of your watch, Windermere Prep has become the next best thing. They have created a safe, fun environment to learn and grow. It's been an absolute pleasure to watch my child grow and bloom as I never could have imagined. I can't believe that they would have become this wonderful young adult without the assistance of Windermere Prep . My experience has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for all that you do.

We are proud to be a part of the WPS family. This year my child transitioned to middle school. It was an amazing year and I can honestly say my child has never been happier. We have watched as our child has progressed Academically and Socially. The Art and Athletic Departments have enhanced our experience and have assisting in making our child well rounded.WINDERMERE PREP is a 5 Star School and I would highly recommend.

For the first five through seven years I would rate it excellent for the last few MISERABLE . I do not feel like my son was safe in the environment they put him in.

Terribly disappointing. The school has systemic problems with both policies and curriculum. Administration patronizes parents and underestimates the potential of kids. Not only do they color their personal experiences and project them upon their policies, they are completely arbitrary with their execution of said policies, politics and favoritism are rampant. It's such a shame. YES, beautiful campus on the outside - ugly inside.

I am so thankful for a school community that promotes the arts, academics, and athletics in a way that develops the child holistically. I would like to also express my sincere gratitude for the Juilliard Collaboration, the recent dance and theatre trips, and a Fine Arts program that has flourished into one of the best in Central Florida. We anxiously await for the opening of the Cypress Center for the Arts and look forward to what the Fine Arts Team will bring next year.

Windermere Prep is our second family. The school and it's programs have nurtured my children and brought out their natural gifts. We have especially seen this with the theatre arts programs. From a young age in the lower school the children are offered opportunities to put on full scale theatrical productions. They learn to work together as a team and strengthen their fine art skills. For my daughter, this has propelled her to professional paid roles outside of school. We are looking forward to the Cypress Center for the Arts opening in August 2018!!!

My son has attended WPS for 10 years now and his experience has been very positive. I would like to thank the Fine Arts Team for putting together such a high quality program for our children. The combination of on campus events and amazing outside opportunities, increases my sons interest constantly. The most recent trip to NY city made me a little jealous, I must admit... the spectacular shows, workshops taught by some of broadways best, touring Julliard, performing on the Apollo Theatre Stage!! All this while be surrounded by such a talented and devoted team of instructors and peers.

Our experience at WPS has been very positive. Our daughter attended K-8, and decided to leave to go to a local public high school. After 2 years there, she returned to WPS. We made this decision for the nurturing environment provided by the teachers and administration. Our daughter is very interested in the Arts, and they have a growing fine arts program, with a recent nod from Julliard, and construction of a brand new theatre and fine arts building on campus. The teachers have also been quite supportive of her endeavors outside of the classroom. This has been the best option for us, and for others seeking the same type of education. She has scored well on her ACT and SAT, and been given the tools she needs to move on to college.

We really like the school, teachers, administration and students. Class sizes are going up in elementary, up to 20 in a class after we were first told 18, then it went to 19, now 20. This is concerning as tuition keeps going up too.

My children, both in elementary school, have recently transferred to Windermere Prep. We all love the school and it is wonderful to hear the kids say they are "proud to be Lakers". The staff go to extraordinary lengths every day to ensure both my (very different) children are happy and successful. From the IT department helping with iPad issues on a Sunday night, the lovely nurse who - with great humor - calls with calm, practical advice, to my son's teacher who I know works each and every day to get the very best out of him, it really is a team effort. Their new policy of seriously cutting back on homework gives the kids time to be kids, to enjoy their friends and their childhood and to give their parents a chance to enjoy doing things with them in the evenings. For the academically advanced, they challenge them on a daily basis; for those who are struggling, they support and encourage them on a daily basis too. So happy that we made the change.

Our experience at the Middle School has been life-changing. It is evident each day to her and to us how much her teachers care about her wellbeing. She feels loved and supported by her teachers and the administration. When enrolling her, we sought a school that would challenge her and engage her, would offer her activities and opportunities that compliment her interests and abilities, and that she'd be excited to attend each day. WPS Middle School is that place. We are so grateful.

WPS was rated "best of" this year - and for good reason! Our kids flourish there. We have one graduate and two children currently enrolled. Each of them have been given so many opportunities to learn and grow as students and as people. Even as the school has grown, they remain true to their roots of a wonderful culture. We are lucky to be Lakers.

My daughter has attended Windermere Prep since she was three years old. This past year was a very tough year in our personal lives with lots of changes. The team of teachers, administrators and counselors could not have been more supportive. Through their guidance and support, I am thrilled to say that my daughter has continued to excel academically, socially and emotionally.

Very Dishonest school polices. The more kids and money you have the less the rules apply.

I just wanted to take a moment to deeply thank the entire WPS family for all that you've done for me and my boys. Your thoughtfulness, generosity, love and support will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated. I can't imagine getting through our sons' high school years without the compassion that has been shown to us. I would like to personally express my heartfelt thanks and sincerest gratitude to Dr. Marcy, Mr. McCall, Dr. Williams, Ms. Elliott, Ms. Santostefano, Coach Wilson, Coach Williams, Coach Doss, Coach Gilbert, and all of the unbelievably supportive teachers who have been an instrumental part of my children lives. I know there are countless others that have had a positive impact on my children and my family, and I want to thank you all as well. It's takes a village to raise children and to keep families lifted during times of adversity. We have truly been blessed to have been a part of the WPS family for the last 4 years, a village who truly goes above and beyond to see that every child succeeds.

Forget attending this school is you have ADHD, anxiety, depression, or any of the other mental health problems that many teenagers like myself have. I went to this school and they would not help me. I no longer fit their image of a perfect student. I’m better off in public school now.

I do not recommend WPS high school. My child was there for 3 years and each year just kept getting worse. Yes, they boast a great education which is why we chose that school, but they offer no other type of support for their students. We had a talk with the head of high school, Dr. Williams, and it was awful. She is very political and does not care enough for the students. Which is surprising given her education and the fact that she is a mother herself. WPS is a business. They expect you to pay your money, but keep your mouth shut.
