My child has been attending this school after going to others schools where she felt in danger all the time. The other schools did not even know my child’s name. This school is so different she is safe and getting a great education. The teachers don’t have to spend most of there time stopping fights because that is not tolerated. My child wants to learn and get good grades this environment has helped her do that. I am so happy and pleased.

Such a great idea but the reality is not at all as advertised, don’t believe the well rehearsed hype given by the headmistress. The grand statistics she frequently regurgitates are juked. This is the school your child can go if they need a piece of paper saying they graduated HS and nothing else. Everyone gets good grades, she does what she wants. Students receive an hour and a half of “instruction” a day (two 45 minute periods) and even that’s not consistent AND that’s if students attend, many don’t. . She inducts everyone into National Honor Society including students that aren’t even 10 years old, it’s an insult to kids who have ever been inducted honestly and fairly. She bumps kids ahead to get them closer to graduation but uses the free dual enrollment program at CFCC to keep them at Waterview until they are 18, all while collecting tuition for her coffers. It’s supposed to be middle school and high school; there are eight year olds attending. The “campus” is inadequate at best and absolutely unsafe: far, far too small for capacity, and the headmistress admits the basement needs to be remediated for mold and mildew. Communication is nonexistent. Teacher turnover is high, if she can find them at all. 2/3 last year weren’t certified (not a requirement in NC but that should tell you something about her standards) and one had just a year of college but “always wanted to be a teacher”. Private schools still have minimum standards they have to follow and this place absolutely does not. Please don’t believe the positive spiel you hear or read about this school. A reckoning is coming there and it will be because she can no longer sweet talk her way out of it.
