I went to Stanton for a few months at first the school is kinda crazy and the teachers do help but not that much. It’s mostly the students that are crazy but I got used to it. It’s was crazy at first but then it turned out all funny and fun just that there are fights and basically that’s it.

Teachers are very dedicated. Good students, just sometimes from difficult backgrounds dealing with teenage or family circumstances. School leadership can be good, but they lack the support from district in handling things appropriately. Can be a great school, but lacks the consistency to do so. Plus, there are a few teachers you just have to shack your head at because they probably can’t even handle their own kids. It really is a Stanton family though. If your student is going here, just know they will be loved and cared for!

This school has a bad rep because of its history but being new to the neighborhood (and state overall) we were pleased to enjoy the upswing of positive motivation.The principal is fair, consistent and an advocate of students to say the least. The administration is friendly and experienced. Lastly the teachers are consistent and experienced. They challenged my girl when she needed it and pushed her academic potential by placing her in the appropriate honors classes.The one thing that needs improvement is the band teacher and the PTA model but I guess you can't have everything.

This school is a community school that has served our children well. It is now under new leadership and we look forward to the upcoming school year! We will be involved and encourage other parents to get involved.
