Baltz is dedicated to supporting all students and their needs. There is a strong system aimed to promoting positive behavior of all students. Services and support for students with special needs, social/emotional support and behavior concerns are continuously growing and academic progress/success, in general is also highly important. With the resources available, Baltz goes above and beyond to support their students.

This is my son's first year at this school and although the administrative staff and teachers are very nice and caring, my son has been bullied and really dislikes going to school there. He often gives me a hard time in the mornings stating he does not want to go and deal with the bullies. My son has a developmental delay (mild autism) which most kids don't understand. They just think he is weird and they pick on him calling him stupid and weird. Nothing has been done about this. I'm hoping to get him choiced elsewhere due to this reason. I think all schools should have assemblies surrounding the autism topic since 1 out of every 110 kids are born with it. Maybe that would give them a better understanding and decrease the bullying.

The school has made many adjustments over the years. The staff is very hardworking and welcoming. Baltz now includes before and after care and a wonderful preschool program. The teachers and administration truly care about their school.

Baltz is a good place to work. Students are eager to come to school and see their friends and teachers. Each morning kids are greeted at the school doors by a friendly staff member and encouraged to eat breakfast. Teachers then greet students at the classroom door. Teachers know how important it is to develop relationships with students and start the day on a positive note so that the academic, social and emotional needs of students can be met.
