I know alot of folks have a claim this is a great school but i find them to single out kids and focus and pick on certain kids. My kids was getting bullied and instead of telling the parents of the kid what he was doing the reprimanded my kid and told him he was not alot to play with the other kids so he doesn't get hit. I mean what.. it just feels like the staff wants to do the least amount of work to get to any place and I am not sure they are committed to the students and their safety. From a learning perspective, O don't see how they are challenging the kids at all, we got so much more in private school that we wonder why the tax $ go here at all.

We have 3 children that have attended this school and we have been absolutely thrilled with the culture, nurturing and academics. The Sense of community the school provides is outstanding. The parents are very involved, the teachers are involved, and the principal and staff are top notch. We have been very pleased with Harper and can not say enough good things about the school and District 39.

This is a K–4th school. We're entering our final year of 5 here. The school is idyllic. The principal has the perfect balance of kindness and strong leadership. We'll miss Harper when we finish, but the fond memories will last a lifetime.

We are delighted that our children get to go to school at Harper! The teachers are incredible and the community is very strong and kind. Our children are well supported academically and any time I am in the school I say a little prayer of gratitude as I am thankful Harper exists for our children to experience!

Harper is extraordinary. It's everything you would want in an elementary school. Safe, nurturing, academically challenging, wide variety of curricula, thoughtful/dedicated teachers and a myrial of after school activities geared towards whatever your child has a passion for. We know a lot of families with children at Harper and everyone feels lucky to have the opportunity to send their children there.

My daughter is in first grade and LOVES it here. She has had amazing teachers that care about each child and help to create a love of learning. She has Spanish and PE daily, art, music, computers and library each week. There are great extracurricular activities and classes available throughout the year. I have helped in her classroom and really love the experience she is having at Harper. Great school and a great community.

My child has had a major bullying problem here that none of the faculty members did anything about. My child's teacher never communicated with me, leading to me finding he is doing very bad. I would never recommend this school to anyone, it is far below average.
