It’s a good school just the teachers don’t listen to the parents or the students. Also they don’t punish bullying at all. It’s messed up that they say bullying isn’t allowed but they let children to bully other children and treat children like they are the “black sheep” of the classroom.

Willow Springs Elementary is an amazing school family. Children and loved and supported at this school. All three of my children thrived in this learning environment. The administration is focused on supporting the needs of each child. Willow Springs has an involved PTA. The staff are excellent and so kind. Such a wonderful environment for kids to learn.

Willow Springs is a great school. The staff goes out of its way to make your children and yourself feel like you're part of a family. The school truly cares about the success of its students both academically and socially. I am amazed at the growth my children haver made and can't thank the wonderful staff at Willow Springs enough.

I go once a week to help out and I can’t stress highly enough what a warm caring environment it is for children to learn in. The teachers really care about the students and it shows in their interactions with them.

Cannot say enough nice things about this school. All the teacher, the administrative staff and Mrs. Miller. Wonderful place for kids to learn and grow and feel safe and loved. Thank you!

Our sons first year has exceeded all expectations. The teachers are very personable, and deliver an exceptional curriculum. Interaction with other faculty has been great. Daily, he tells us about the wonderful things done in the classroom, how much he enjoys the other students and all the fun things they do. Loves the fact there is a garden they get to learn first hand with. Year round option is the best thing ever for our schedule and lifestyle. His reading and math skills now exceed that of his friends from former school. School utilizes technology in a positive way, with online opportunities, smart-boards, and Class Dojo.

This was a great school the first few years, not sure what has changed. The no bullying policy is a joke, have reported threats to the principal and was told nothing could be done. A child was physically hurt and nothing was done. There are some great teachers there, but I have noticed a change in certain areas of the school. Very sad as this was a great school! To allow another child to harm another child when you are made aware by several parents, is not acceptible and to continue to allow it,in one class with nothing done is not okay.

BULLYING. Multiple calls saying,"Your child was hit by another student today." Consequences were scarce, including a gun threat. My son was told he would be beat up on the bus. After encouraging him to defend himself, I sent him to school with a recorder. There was name calling between the kids, and my son told the bus driver but was screamed at to"Be quiet"and told the other child was not name calling. This led to the other child physically attacking mine. I was told by staff that bullying is 1 child repeatedly bothering another. My child was attacked by more than 1 child. Really? Because there are signs up in the school, and they tout the bullying prevention horn, there CANNOT be a bullying issue-The problem is my child's social skills and his personality that instigates bullying.VICTIM BLAMING. If the staff refuses to see a problem, the problem will never be fixed. My recorder proved the inefficiency at dealing with children reporting bullying. Now, the children are not allowed to bring electronics to school or they will be expelled from the bus. An attempt at covering up what actually takes place at this school, more concerned about their image than the wellbeing of the children.

Willow Springs is an excellent school. I have moved to different locations over the past few years but continued to carry my children to this school. The principals & staff are wonderful. The education that these teachers provide here is amazing. There is no other place I would want my children to go.

We love this school! My son loves this school! He cannot wait to go to school and does not want to Track out. We transferred from a Traditional calendar school to the Year round and my son was behind when he started. They have provided him extra help to get caught up and succeed! We are very pleased and highly recommend the school. We have also used the Before and After school care and he is very happy with those as well. And they have a garden which is such a great learning tool.

This school is a hidden gem! Starting with the Principal Mrs. Miller ,and most of the teachers and assistant are like your ideal family.my daughter started here the 3-rd grade and we got Mrs.Rochford one of the most wonderful teacher. Then Ms Adams took care of Veronica. We came from Fuquay Elementary where we had horrible experience since the first kindergarten day.I'm sure they have wonderful teachers we just didn't had luck with them. Anyway I highly recommend Willow Springs Elementary in everyway. Did I mentioned my other child Daniel just started Kindergarten here. First week so far and I feel so relaxed because I know he is in the best care

My daughter started kindergarten at this school and we absolutely loved it! Mrs. Moore in kindergarten and Mrs. Haley in first grade were the kinds of teachers that I prayed for before my daughter ever started school. This school has a small community feel and is very welcoming and kind. The academics were excellent! We moved after second grade and I now know how blessed we were to be a part of Willow Springs. My daughters two schools following WS were a huge disappointment. We still talk about how much we loved it there. Mr. Langley was awesome too and when he retired we also liked his replacement Mrs. Miller. If you're moving to Fuquay Varina, do what you can to get into Willow Springs instead of Fuquay elementary. You won't regret it!

I have two daughters who attend WSES, we have been here for 7 years now. My oldest just started middle school. I have loved every teacher and teacher assistant at this school every year K-5! When you walk through the school you are greeted with smiles and hellos even from those that may not know you or your child. The principle, assistant principle, and office staff are extremely friendly and very involved with the children. The cafeteria staff are also very friendly and helpful to parents and children. I hear friends complain about terrible experiences with staff at other elementary schools and I feel very blessed because I have never had a bad experience at WSES. I would highly recommend this school and would never send my girls any where else! I truely cannot say enough about WSES and their amazing staff. The PE teachers, arts teacher, counslors, library staff, everyone is wonderful!!

I have two children that go here and they love it! The teachers have been amazing and love the kids as if they were their own. Although the school is a little large, the principal seems to know all the kids names and interacts with them on a daily basis, especially as they arrive in the morning. I would never dream of sending my kids anywhere else!!

The leadership and community involvement at this school amazes me. I have two sons here and the eldest will be entering 3rd grade and I'm so thankful for the support and extra incentive that the students and parents have. The PTA is outstanding!!!

We love this school. The teachers are great and the staff does an excellent job at keeping parents involved and informed. It has a small town feel where the principal knows the student's names. We are very happy here and would not want to send our children anywhere else.
