My child thrived at Bailey even with the distance learning brought on by the pandemic her last year there. She had great teachers that cared and pushed her to do her best work and were very responsive to me as a parent whenever I had questions. The principal, Mrs. Rraci, also adequately addressed any concerns that came up throughout the 3 years. There are opportunities for kids to learn instruments and sing in the chorus as well as after school activities. Even when they had to do it only virtually instead of in person, the music teacher put together a wonderful play! As of the fall of 2021 there is a brand new playground for students to enjoy.

I have 2 sons in the district and another one starting soon. My oldest has high-functioning autism and ADHD. The district has been amazing with all of his needs and giving us plenty of services. Unlike other districts where you might have to hire a lawyer to get your child what they deserve, this was never the case in Greenburgh. I know other families who come from other districts and go to Greenburgh schools for their services. ALL the teachers care so much and go above and beyond. The school has really been on top of distance learning during the pandemic. Every student has their own school issued laptop. We moved from an apartment a few years ago to a house, but purposely stayed within the district to keep all the services and family atmosphere. The principals and superintendent know me by name and that is a big plus. I would definitely recommend it to others!

We put our kids into Greenburgh public schools despite hearing it wasn't the greatest. We did our own research first and we're over the moon! The Superintendent is phenomenal! The principals are great. My children transitioned well, the staff and faculty are fantastic. The resources available are astounding: After school enrichment programs (STEAM, chess, Spanish, dance etc.), student government, school play, to name a few. Beginning in the 2018/2019 school year, there will be an Advanced Learning Program (ALP). Challenging, innovative, well-rounded opportunities for all students! I can't say enough good things. I would encourage anyone who is on the fence or curious, to visit any of the schools to hear and see for themselves!

My daughter has been in the Greenburgh district since pre-kindergarten and has been doing really well academically. She has had great teachers throughout (with only one exception) and seems to enjoy going to school each day. She's done well on state exams and is participating in honors jazz band. All around we've been very satisfied with Bailey and district schools.

My child just started 4th grade last month, and so far the school has been great, the teachers are awesome! They have many clubs and after school programs to keep the kids engaged in learning. This year new to RJ Bailey is the "Teaming" approach. Where the kids have a homeroom and have 1 teacher for ELA and social studies, and travel to another teacher for Math and Science. It's awesome!
