I went in to enroll multiple children into this school it was not a great experience we where told many and confusing things things and staff came off very stuck up and did not seem to care for any questions that where asked with special needs kids and came off very cross with us when stating most of the kids have ADHD and IEP. We went to the open house and still did not know who they where going to have for teachers so the just quickly showed us to all the grades we had kids for in that grade the class rooms where very bland and crowded.

From a friend I heard this other kid hated her so much that he wanted to kill her. Or it seemed like it, but when my friend reported this to the teacher, they did NOTHING. My cousin would also get bullied and teachers would never step in. My cousin couldn't take it anymore, fought another guy and got suspended.

The fact that your children can start strings in fourth grade is the ONLY plus to this school. On the middle school side, we had several genuinely good teachers who care and do the best for the children. The others don't bother to show up for IEPs and cave to the passing of children to to move them forward. Bullying is a big issue with the more popular kids being able to treat others badly with little to no consequence. My child there was never in trouble but was the repeated victim of bullying from name calling to assault of a vulgar nature. The school is very cliquish!!! The elementary side of the school is similar. The main difference being the lack of organization and communication. Constant calls from the robo caller that are pointless while important matters recive little attention. Notes home from teachers concerning outings and events were Never free of spelling and grammatical errors! Transferring in was difficult due to the cliquishness and the mentality that comes with that type of people. I fear I let my children stay too long and hope and pray the damage done to the oldest one's self esteem and the youngest one's academic career is not permanent. On a final note, the constant use of the High School, miles away, for every little concert and event is ridiculous and the hassle is compounded when the add alll of the county's schools to the same concert or event. This is as much civility as this school deserves in a review.
