We have been at Eagle Point for 5 years. It is a top notch h school with a warm & welcoming atmosphere & a caring & loving staff. Their professional stems from the principal all the way to the custodial staff. We love the Leader in Me Program and the culture of the school. No wonder they are rated #1 in Broward.

Stay away from the dual language program. The principal covers up too much for her teachers bad behaviors. Zero accountability. They tell you that they will handle it, and they never do.

This school went downhill. The majority of the teachers don't have any patience at all! The majority of the teachers want robot students, they are constantly telling the children to shut up! Teachers tend to generalize always a good student with the rest of the misbehaved challenged children. The principal is barely at the school, I barely see her walking up and down in the campus. There is no order or good management skills to remove the bad teachers. Teachers shouldn't treat children bad because of their behavior. All of the staff members a rude and condescending in this school with no manners what so ever. Definitely the school board needs to get involved in this school and do a major clean of attitude of the personnel here. Tests scores are enforced so much because the principal is looking for a raise in her paycheck! The children are placed in a lot of pressure constantly. Don't enroll your child here, I don't recommend it.

The teachers are great and the school provides a healthy learning environment for kids, where they can develop skills at an early age. My two boys attended the school and as a mother I always felt supported by the school staff and teachers.

I went to this school for 6 years (K - 5th) and loved every minute of it as well did my sister who went there for 7 years (Pre-K to 5th). The teachers and staff are amazing, and I will always hold them close to my heart. I was enrolled in the dual language program, and the teachers there did an excellent job at teaching all the new Spanish-Speaking learners. The morning announcements where phenomenal, as were awards and leadership participation, after school activities, after care, the FSA confidence boosting videos telling the students that they have nothing to worry about and will do well, birthday shoutouts to ALL students and staff as well as fun and amazing field days, color runs, end of year celebrations, and

We are disappointed. Being first year in the district, we have learned more from parents than teachers. The introduction open house was a 1 hour PowerPoint presentation with no overview if curriculum, learning, and the value their education and testing structure will provide to the students.

I meant to write this review over a year ago after we relocated from Tennessee. I cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful experience we are having at Eagle Point! The front office staff is amazing and welcoming and you feel it the moment you walk in. The teachers, staff and administrators have made us feel at home. There is positive energy everywhere you go and my children are happy, excited and learning more than ever before. Kudos Eagle Point Team!

omg! how can I start with school so much to say. I was taught that if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all! but As a parent, the education for my kids is so important and I share my opinion for people that will understand my concerns about it. As a mother, I want you to be aware of this overrated school. My kids were Eagle point students for 3 years from K to 3rd grade. This school used to be very good in every possible way. Now is so disorganized, clueless, dirty (I saw a rat in the cafeteria when I was bringing a cake for my daughter's BD and cockroaches when I had the chance to volunteer in her class room) I noticed kids are rude, wild and spoiled. My kids started acting rude as well! a nightmare if you want to pick up your kid, there is no organization or security for them. Is an overcrowded and overrated school right now. Do not expect your child to receive a fair education, I don't blame the teachers, they are actually super nice ladies but too many kids to handle. God bless them! overall, kids were happy because they made friends but not about education. Think twice is not worth it. You may find other schools with less "stars" or recognition but definitely with more quality of education and attention for your kid. My kids are attending another school and I am extremly happy I made the right choice for 2017.

My son has attended Kindergarten and his teacher Mrs. Atlas was amazing. He improved on his reading skills a lot during the year. And his interest level in doing homework was very high. Overall, he was motivated and wanted to learn. He was happy with his school and teacher.

This school use to be great at one point, but it has left a very sour taste in my mouth. My daughter had a field trip to saint Augustine and she was so looking forward to the trip. The total cost was a little over $300.00 - She was super excited because she was going to spend the overnight trip with her two best friends .. so everyone in her class had already picked their group. A few weeks later she came to the house super upset because she said that her teacher told her she wasnt going to be in the group she had originally picked because one of the girls weren't going.. Immediately when my daughter told me I called her teacher and I told her that my daughter wasn't going to enjoy herself if her group was changed, and that if that was the case I would like my money back because the purpose of her trip was her having the fun of her life with her best friends... after the teacher giving me the run around - she finally called me back and promised me that no change had been made- she told me that she didn't know what my daughter was talking about and that shes still scheduled to go on the trip with her best friends.... So I agreed on the field trip and i assured my daughter that she was still assigned with her best friends ( trusting the teachers word). The day of the field trip - as soon as I left the teacher separated my daughter from her group and told her once she was in saint Augustine that she was no longer in the group and that there was nothing she could do - that it was out of her control..

Eagle point has been a great experience 2 out of the 3 years so far. It seems most of the teachers have been there a long time and your experience in the end like with all schools depends if your child has a good teacher. The office staff is super friendly and the principal and both vice principals are there with a smile to great the children every morning at car pool or standing at the front gates. Also, weekly on a phone/email message is an update from the principal which is great to keep parents involved. Car pool can get a little messy and high stress but I suspect it is that way with most large schools although they do have a friendly BSO directing traffic every morning. There are after school clubs available, an organized aftercare and many opportunities to volunteer for the PTA. If you are Hispanic and enjoying being around mostly Latins then his school is probably a dream. Eagle Point also has a bilingual program and if you attend school activities or functions, you will hear most of the parents speaking Spanish(some room parents do not speak English). It can be intimidating, cliquish and leave a non Hispanic feeling like an outsider but welcome to Weston also known as Westonzuela. This is what it has become over the past 5 years so that is something to consider if you are moving to the area. Overall, it's a public education and although the school does fundraisers and fun field trips , it still has focus and the high pressure of standardized tests. I do feel my children are safe and mostly happy although haven't developed any close friendships like friends at smaller schools due to classes changes and many teachers per grade. We would like to see more crowd control and organization of parents when events happen (example-allowing parents to block front gates when morning events happen and children are trying to get to school) and to see a better car pool plan implemented. (Maybe schedule functions at least an hour after school begins,a scattered arrival time or another entrance being used but this may be out of the schools control) Trying to get over 1300 students in on time can not be an easy task but everyone is out there helping out.

Feel like the school is only teaching about South America, for the last 3 years all the class assignments have been about SA not US or the world. In general it is a good school, but I as a non-US citizen feel like it is more a Pro-Spanish school than a school, and it seem to get worse year after year.

My son started 6 months ago in 1st grade at EPE, and I have to say so far it has been a great school. The Principal is totally involved with the activities and demands the highest standards and quality for the students. PTA is top level... lots of activities for you to volunteer with. Fundraising is very common (maybe too often), but everything is for investment back in the school. Academic level is outstanding, and some programs are out of this world; for example, my son is having the visit of a dog and her trainer in a regular basis to the classroom, and the kids have to read to them. It's a fun way for students to improve their reading skills. Amazing place!

I couldn't be happier with EPE, the Principal is the most innovative Principal ever! She LISTENS and try her best to make this school the best, they have a fully bilingual program, they also have all the technology available for their students, they give us tools and online programs to help our children succeed, the teachers are great too, the assistant Principal has an amazing personality always happy and smiling, the PTA is also amazing, they do several activities during the year so the children can have a lot of specials. It's like getting private school quality education in a public school. I'm looking forward to see what else this innovative Principal brings to EPE.

We moved here in Dec 2013 from IL. I was very nervous and worried after hearing so many bad things about FL schools. We could not be happier with EPE and Weston! Very good communication between staff and parents. They really get everyone involved! Would highly recommend this school!!

We have had children at this school for 9 years. Under the new principal, things are nothing short of amazing here! She is energetic and so innovative! Under her leadership, the school has become a bilingual school, has added a preK program, has created exciting new after school activities, and participates in the Digital 5 program where each 5th grader has their own laptop (which she is now bringing into the 4th grade)! The school also has both a very strong PTA and a separate Foundation, which support the school through programs and fundraising.

Eagle Point elementary has a very family-oriented school culture. This is our first year at Eagle Point Elementary. Last year, both my daughters were in another elementary school in Weston. Both my 3rd grader & 5th grader love their current school. They unanimously said that this school has more programs, more hardworking teachers, larger campus & friendlier environment. EPE is one of a few schools in Broward County to pioneer the Digital 5 program. I am so glad my 5th grader has a chance to be part of this program. The PTA is very strong and they welcome talents to participate in various committees to make EPE the best school at Weston. With a great principal, a strong PTA, a friendly & conducive environment, I am sure EPE will thrive. I recommend EPE to everyone/anyone interested in residing in Weston.

Eagle Point Elementary has exceed my expectations. We moved from California last year and we established residence in Weston based on the school recommendations. My son was a little worried about his new school and all the things that comes with it: new kids, new teachers, new place, etc. Since the first day, the school staff make us feel like we were in home, my son s teacher is great, she has been a great mentor. My son is extremely happy and is learning a lot. The school has a program for 5th grade where the kids are using computers for the class, all the text books are loaded on my son s school laptop, and all the tasks and homework's are assigned, done, submitted and checked on the class system. I think EPE is a one highly innovative school. I do not hesitate to recommend the school for any parents that are considering to establish residence in Weston, FL. This school is just GREAT!!!

We have been at EPE for 5 years. I have 2 children and they love their school. Teachers are incredible with kids. They learn lots of things. My kids love to go every day and they enjoy learning. Our new principal is doing a lot for the school, she is awesome! Thanks EPE for bring a great place for our kids to learn and grow! I am very much involved in school like many parents here! That is a plus!
