Miller Elementary is nothing short of exceptional. All feel welcomed and supported by both the staff and the community. The teachers are not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply committed to each student's success. They go above and beyond to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment, fostering both academic growth and personal development. The administration is responsive and transparent, always keeping parents informed and involved in the decision-making process. What stands out the most is the genuine care and dedication to student well-being. Miller Mustangs places a strong emphasis on creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where every child can thrive!

NOT A K-5 school! No idea why it’s listed that way and so deceiving to families moving to the area. 3yrs ago the district made Miller and Manning “Grade Level Centers”. Miller is only k-1 and Manning is 2-5. I would have given this school 4 or 5 stars prior to the change.

Greatest school ever. I will cry when my kids graduate from Miller. They are learning and growing so much. I have made many rich friendships with the teachers and staff. They are such wonderful people.

I love Miller school and I am very sad that we are moving out of state because my job is relocating me. Miller is a fantastic and caring school that develops the children both emotionally and academically. I am shocked that it is rated only a 6, which really makes me doubt the accuracy of the rating system. Don't be swayed by some of the outdated and jaded comments, some people will always find a problem somewhere to complain about. If you want to see how great the school is, come see when the kids get out of school at the end of the day and beg their parents to let them stay and play.

I absolutely hate that my child is attending this school, the principal "pretends" to handle issues yet nothing ever gets resolved. They condone bullying at this school and the facility makes more excuses for bullying than resolving the issue at hand. I do not recommend this school at all.

Miller was just ranked the 3rd best elementary school in DuPage County in the school year 2016/17. This report needs updating. There is a great new principal as of 2016.I am very pleased that my kids attend Millerl. The teachers are doing a great job, the facilities and equipment is all good too. No negatives, only positives about this school.

I've had one child go through all grades, a second child in 3rd grade and one more child that will be starting at CE Miller soon. I've continuously been impressed by the personalized attention and focus on ensuring the highest quality education and experiences for all of the students.

Miller has improved so much over the past 5 years. I was apprehensive at first, but my oldest child went from struggling to becoming a straight A student, which has continued into Jr. High. The teachers are fantastic! 3rd grade teacher in particular is one of the best teachers at that school. All genuinely enjoy teaching and the benefit of a smaller school is that your child(ren) receive much more one on one time. The curriculum is also well structured and they are continuously introducing new programs and creative ways to engage the kids and facilitate the learning process. For example, the school this year introduced several new computer-based programs including Raz Kids. My son actually enjoys coming home and 'playing' on the computer. Additionally, the test scores at our school have improved substantially year over year - one of the most improved in the state. It's a great school with great staff and I count myself lucky that my kids attend Miller.

We had a horrible experience with one of the first grade teachers. There were way to many problems at this school. The principal was very laid back and some of the teachers were out of touch. They denied many problems, such as bullying. They gave a citizenship medal to a child who was bullying other students and who said he was in a gang. My special needs child missed lunch not once but twice. When I confronted the staff about my child not getting a lunch, one staff member rudely said that my son ate a lunch. I had to show proof on the school's website that his lunch card was not swiped on that day. Also, I would've liked to see more writing throughout the year. At the end of the year, my son's writing journals were basically blank. There were way too many word searches coming home. I would've liked to see more projects or creative work. The exact same writing assignment came home four different times. It seems as if the bare minimum is done and nothing more. Moving my child out of this school has been the best decision that I've ever made. On a positive note, the kindergarten teacher was amazing! After that, move your child to another school asap!
