This School is our family's second home! My oldest has been here for 8 years and is very much supported and challenged. I have watched her blossom into quite a reader& Spanish learner. Willmore has Amazing family involvement and we are from all parts of the world with many talents and gifts to be shared. We are all raising our kids and learning together. I have worked in education across many school sites for over a decade and Willmore has some of the most dedicated Teachers you could hope to find. My youngest just began their journey in Willmore TK and is enjoying teaching me "palabras nuevos cada dia!" If you are considering changing schools or are new to the neighborhood come say hello! We'd love to meet you.

Worst school for a kinder garden kid. I had to move my kid from school because the teachers were not caring and my son had urine accidents almost every day (teacher woud not pay attention when he ask to go the the bathroom). he would cry because he did not wanted to attend to that school. Very disorganized school too when droop off and pick up kids. My son is hapoier and no accidents at his new school.

My son started at Willmore Language Academy in the 2017-2018 school year at the Dual Spanish - English Immersion program. We love the school so far. Dr. Jacobson is a great leader that encourages participation by all and takes your feedback to heart. Mrs. Weber and Ms. Galvan have been amazing teachers and my son has learned an amazing amount of Spanish in just this one year. We are very excited about this school and all of the potential to come!

My daughter is in first grade at Willmore Language Academy, and I am happy I found this school at the perfect time. Previously, I had her at a very nice and very expensive private school because I thought they were the only ones who offered a Spanish-English Dual Immersion Program in Huntington Beach, then I discovered Willmore, which is 10 minutes from my home. I was ecstatic when I found out that along with their Spanish-English Dual Immersion Program my daughter would also learn to code with the Code to the Future Program that Willmore has in place for all students, which will make her a multilingual and multiliterate citizen, which is a fantastic credential. The school provides a safe and supportive environment. The reason behind this is because Willmore has dedicated and highly qualified teachers and staff that are very caring and approachable making it an inviting place for students to learn. In addition, parent involvement is increasing through the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and other activities like the monthly Coffee with the Principal. These are great ways to become involved as a parent at the school. Finally and most importantly: My daughter loves going to school and is progressing towards becoming a caring individual, a great citizen and a confident leader thanks to the education she is receiving at Willmore.

As head of PTA, I really like to stress that there have been a lot of changes at Willmore Elementary in the past 4 months. Dr. Jacobson, the new principle at Willmore, is a kind, highly educated MOM who can be found greeting parents, going to the classrooms and even taking time from her busy schedule to teach her favorite subject to the students; Math. My son has been at Willmore since Pre-K and I have never had an issue with any of the teachers. Because of the small size of the school, class sizes are optimal and teachers are accessible to parents, should you have a concern. As far as the type of education the children are receiving, I feel it is adequate and they have various therapists that work with children who may need extra help. The negative reviews I see come from parents who have language barriers, and with that, I want them to know that there are translators in the front office (Vietnamese and Spanish), all they need to do is go in (or just even call) and talk to someone. The liaisons are there from 8am-10:30am to help you and you should take advantage of it. Parent involvement is key in your child's education, be present every chance you get or encourage another family member to get involved on your behalf- build a relationship with your child's school any way possible.

The principle seems to have anger issues and maybe not a good age group for him to work with. The school is not diverse at all, and has no understanding of children with different backgrounds. He is quick to suspend and has plenty of suspensions going on regularly! Even if your student is a model student. they will receive no positive recognition. But rest assured the negative is coming!
