We love Schroeder. Both of my kids went there and we loved all the teachers. The PTA is strong and organizes great events. It has a very family friendly feel to it. Both of my kids were well prepared for middle school.

This school is amazing! My kids have done nothing but excelled in this school! The teachers are amazing and will do anything to help out your children! My youngest will be starting Kindergarten in the 2022-2023 school year and cannot wait for him to experience the joy My other 2 got out of Schroeder.

My child has had a good experience in the two years she has been there. I do wish there was more one on one teaching for students who need more help than other students in their classroom. There should always be a teacher's assistant in the classroom to help with this.

This is an amazing school! The principal Mrs. Hernandez loves this school and it shows! She makes sure that she addresses all of the children by name. I’m sad that my child will be leaving for middle school next year.

Horrible. Vicki is an amazing front office lady and that’s about as far as it goes. The principal is absolutely ridiculous and so unprofessional. I can’t believe she is actually allowed to be a principal.

This school used to be the most amazing school . The staff was amazing and the parents involvement . 3 years ago the school got a new principal and it changed the entire dynamic of Schroeder Elementary. The kids loved the old principal and felt honored around her . Now the students fear the principal. She has no patience with the kids and she spends her time walking around looking for things to yell and lecture the kids about . Everytime I see her she is lecturing grandparents parents and kids . Someone is in trouble from everyday , and it could be your child you or grandparents. It is quite sad to see the school run this way. She is not a happy person in general and it truly seems like she just walks around the grounds looking at a parent or student to reprimand. None of the kids feel warm around her because she truly seems to not enjoy being around children. It is sad because my child has been attending since kinder and and is almost in middle school now. A straight A top scholar. But still fears the principal. She honored and respected the old proncipal and all the students loved her . It's sad that in recent years the school that used to be so happy and pleasant has completely changed.

I'm very impressed with this school! I come from the world of ocean view schools and was planning to transfer my daughter to circle view but decided to stay at Schroeder. The PTA is amazing! I call it the underdog school...the families are not as affluent as other schools in HB but what they have the make the most of what they have and then some! Love the diversity and humility of the families...not entitled and snobbish...,it really is just a very large family and I really feel like a part of it. Yes, of course the teachers are amazing and the principal is dynamic! Go Schroeder!!!

Love this school and the pta involvement is exceptional. Tutoring is offered and many other resources for the struggling student.

This school has a very active group of parent volunteers. Feels like a community school where everyone is like minded and helps out.
