I went to school here. I would never send my children to this school.

to begin with, it is a very small christian school. If you, as a parent, think that making a lot of friends in a school is necessary then this probably isnt the school for you. On the other hand, if you think that small class size is more substantial to your child, this might be the school for you. Secondly, the sports is very much secondary at Northside. First and foremost is art and music. If you plan on having the next Lebron James, dont go to Northside. If you just want your kid to have a "good" time and just play basketball or soccer, that you will be getting here. Academically, the school is on par with other schools, if not a little behind. the teachers, in my personal opinion are a little un-Christian in views and policies. The school is a very conservative school, but has recently broadened their scopes of shoe wear and general things like that.

I have my two kids in here. This school has the best science labs (college level quality) of all christian schools in the area. They do a good job on science, biology, etc. They take music seriously, maybe a bit too seriously and singin dauther does not feel free to sign they way she likes. Sports (basketball, etc.) and cheerleading is A LOT of fun for the kids and family. Kids seem happy and parents too. The principal and staff are too uptight and scared of the principal. That makes them pay attention to details but sometimes too much! They are VERY busy but will still take time to address any of your concerns. Sometime they pay too much concern to petty details like chain neckace, pants color shades, shoes designs, etc. The teachers are tough and homework is hard but kids learn a lot, not for the faint of heart. They are always thinking on activities to keep kids entertain but I can tell no too much thought on how one activity affects others, example, basketball game after chappel (kids will be in the wrong uniform).
