Half of the teachers my children had were great but the other half were judgmental, stereotypical, or did not have control of their classroom. Children had 504 paperwork that the school administration failed to include in their packet therefore my children were struggling without these accommodations. Bullying is a big issue here too and teachers/staff are reluctant to help.

ADORE This school. You can tell that the everybody cares about the well being and learning of the kids. The principal Ms Cao Garcia and Mr Arias are always ready to help and listen any concerns. The school includes the parents in their activities and more. Can’t wait for my youngest to go there too.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. All of my children have attended this school and I wouldn't have it any other way. The principal Mrs. Coa- Garcia goes far beyond to make sure we all feel like a family unit.

I am an over-protective, very picky, involved, parent of two, who attend Capistrano Elementary. The principal: Mr. Cao-Garcia takes great pride in her work. She is involved in every aspect of the school and continually works together with the parents and staff to improve wherever possible. Teachers: Four out of the five teachers we've worked closely with at this school have exceeded our expectations. After four years at Capistrano, I am definitely looking forward to another great and productive [2014-2015] school year!

Capistrano Avenue School is excellent. The teachers and office staff are very efficient . My daugther is in kindergarthen , since I started with the process I feel welcome every time I walk in. The Principal Mrs Sonja Cao- Garcia is accesible & involved in every daily activity. I am so glad having my daughter in this school. Thanks.

This school is an excellent school their teachers and staff are awesome and Mrs. Cao-Garcia is a very dedicated principal to the school and to the students. Thank you Mrs Ali, Mrs. Wellbaum, Mrs.Wiesen, and Mrs. Padilla for being extraordinary teachers my family will be always thankful for your dedication to our children.

Even though we had an inconvenient temporary removal of our voting precinct for the last two elections of 2012, the principal was nice enough to explain it to me and she promised that in May/June 2013 it would be back as always. That's great news for the elderly in our area. Very friendly staff. Open and honest when I had community questions.

Good school. Nice principal, teachers and staffs .Nice and friendly neighborhood as well. My daughter likes it here.
