6/10 I Had an okay experience at Bugbee. Besides the bullies and some students/teachers I had a good time. It wasn't terrible but it was excellent.

Both of my children have thrived at Bugbee. They are both excelling academically and have developed wonderful friendships. Any bumps along the way have been handled by the teaching staff in a swift and professional manner.

poor too much bullying, no accountability by staff

This school has a huge problem with bullying. My daughter has been bullied and it is just brushed under the table. None of the teachers care about the student being bullied. I've never experienced anything like this. I would have been better off staying in Hartford.

Warm, caring environment combined with excellent academics, music, and art. The kids are happy here. I wish I could have had some of their teachers!

Bugbee has a new, young, enthusiastic and energetic principal. We loved the school for our older two, but now with our youngest we feel it is even better. Amazing teachers, great leadership, fantastic school community. Warm, caring environment, great special ed, beautiful well-equipped yet classic building, quiet location, playing fields and playgrounds. And, it was just rated 2nd elementary school in the entire state of CT! I highly recommend it.
