We love Orangewood! I have two kids that have attended the school since Kinder and it’s been such a wonderful experience. They are so involved with the students and create many opportunities for family involvement as well! So many events and things for everyone to participate in.

My children are in the dual-immersion program. They are learning so much. During these trying times, I see how hard the teachers are working to make sure that my children’s needs are met as best they can.

My daughter is in the dual language immersion program at Orangewood. She is excelling in all areas. The teachers here are very caring, and Principal Shirley is awesome. As a fellow educator, and Administrator (in another district) I couldn't ask for a better school for my daughter. I would definitely recommend this school.

It has loots off carring teachers but the principal dosent coaporate much the school needs more activity for students to get more involved & get motivated.. never celebrates no holydays with activities ... u never see principal out off her office only at the biginning she was always out there interacting with parents & students.. but once she became permanent principal she change.. the other thing dont like us that why the school has a cafeteria & students dont eat in there thet are always out side even when its sooo cold & rains.. that section is fealty soo dirty smells like hell costodian just waters section (just to say he did it) but all food is on ground after dies it gives a really bad oddor.. something needs to be done in that section all other schools all their students eat in side the cafeteria what a shame.. also dont presure students to eat fast i think its their choice to finish fast & go out side & play it gives the student anxiety especially the kindergartens comon they are new to all this stuff in kinder (iam not saing to baby them) but don't be hard on them ive seen how they are being yeld or talk in a high tone voice comon people they are kindergartens they are learning.. i could go on & on

I would like to thank all the teachers who taught my daughters Naomi and Isabelle when they went to Orangewood Elementary school. My girls had a great foundation at this school!!! Yes, they do focus on test scores but that is only to strive the students to do there best. My daughters are now a Jr. and Senior at Chino Hills High school taking honors and AP classes. I am greatful for all the teachers who cared at Orangewood. Thank you

I had went 2 orange wood 2years ago and am now in 7th grade, I have 2 admit it is a great school but it is really boring... They don't have very many fun opportunities and care to much on testing, they have great teaches but in fourth grade I would prefer not to go their!(the most horrible 4th grade teachers EVER)the principal is really cheap and the food is alright BUT in fifth grade you will have one of the best year ever by the way if u are in fifth grade get mrs. shmier I LOvE her!!!

I have to say I was very upset when I found out that my 3rd grade daughter was receiving 2nd grade homework without being told. In reality my daughters should have been in 2nd grade reason being her birthday is Dec 10th and the cut off is Dec 2nd. She was struggling with reading and language. I was advised to put her back in 2nd grade being it would be best for her. Both my husband and I agreed to retained on the understanding it was in her best interest . A couple of weeks after we received a letter by mail that our inter district application would be terminated. The reason my daughter was late and absent quite a few times. I beg the principal to give us another chance but all she care to say was that my daughters performance was affecting the school and test scores.

i must admit this school seem's to only care about test and reading score's. not only that the teacher's treat the parents like dirt. they are very rude. and to top it off were not even allowed to walk our own child to class in the morning. and if u do u get yelled at by a man in the hall way. if u like being treated like this. bring your child to this school. because they will do the job!
