My daughters loved the school. Mrs Pennock and Ms Smith were amazing! The vice principle could have made better decisions this past year but the overall faculty in the school are good and care about the children's success and wellbeing. Great concerts from grades K-5th grade with teacher and student interactions. Free breakfast and lunch has been great! Play grounds are equipped with age appropriate play sets. Facilities were clean kept. Overall satisfied with the school.

I do not recommend this school at all. Plenty of better schools in the area.

The staff at William Perry do not care about the children or their education. They don't know how to handle even the smallest of situations and I feel like at times they even bully the students. They turn everything into an escalated situation. My child's current 2nd grade teacher is a joke. My middle schooler went over a work assignement done by his sibling and found it to be incorrect but it had 100% at the top. If you have a choice DO NOT send your child to this school. The administration is a joke and 65% of the teachers are too.

Administration doesn't take parent concerns seriously. If you esclate to the Director of Student Services or Superintendent the cover up begins. Zero accountability for faculty and staff.

Our son attended Kindergarten at William Perry. We were very happy with the staff, everyone from the principal, the teachers, and even the aides were wonderful. The only detriment to the school are the large population of parents who seem not to be at all concerned with their children's education, or behavior.

I am very impressed with William Perry and it s staff. This was my son first year and I could not be any happier. Ms Cornish, his kindergarten teacher did an excellent job and deserves a medal. The William Perry school district does not have the best neighborhoods, but by no means does it have the worst. If you are looking for a house in this district don t worry about who your kids associates, they are in good hands. The only reason I gave the school a rating of 4 is because of the lunch program. The management does not keep up with what the children spend and note are sent after all there money is already spent

Most of the teachers are pretty good at this school. However, there is a lack of communication from administration. They seem to carry themselves as if they are above the parents, which is unfortunate because this type of behavior does not encourage a true partnership. With bi-racial children, diversity is important and so is a non-tolerance for discrimination. This is not promoted in the school, from what I have seen and from what my children have experienced. Administration that doesn't do anything about racism in the school is essentially condoning it.

My child just transferred to this school from "the best" elementary school in the city this year. There is no comparison. Our experience with William Perry has been absolutely phenomenal. We're both so happy! It's a GREAT school and I'm thrilled that my younger child will be starting there next year.

My son has been at William Perry for 2 years, and we have been pleased with our experiences. His teachers have had great communication with us, and I feel like I am involved with his education. The principals, teachers, and staff are always friendly and willing to help. I have also enjoyed working with the school's PTO and getting to know the other parents.

William Perry elementary school has had a wonderful impact on my two children who attend. They love their teachers, and are always ready to go to school and learn. This is a direct reflection on the staff from top to bottom. The teachers are excellent, they truly care about each and every student. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

William Perry elementary school has had a damaging and devastating impact on my entire family. I would strongly urge anyone considering this school to look elsewhere and only enroll your children there if there is no alternative!
