The teachers are absolutely fantastic at this school -- not only did my child thoroughly enjoy his time at Claypit, but he grew immensely as a learner and person.

For all but 1 year, I had a good experience at the Claypit Hill school. Most of the teachers are excellent. My child experienced bullying and it took a couple of years to address. I also had to hire an advocate. One shouldn't need to hire an advocate to get appropriate services. However, once an IEP was in place, the experience was amazing.

Like any school, there is some variation between teachers, but I think that Claypit has a really nice sense of community, good academics, and is well-rounded overall. The homework is less than maybe other districts but my understanding is that this is a conscious choice to let young children have free time and time to pursue other activities. I do wish that Claypit (and all schools) would work in more recess time to their day based on recent research showing how this increases kids' school performance and attention.

I hated my experience here and I was bullied. I really wish I had a better experience there. Children be warned
