Let me premise this review by saying the teachers here our awesome. Back in 3rd grade, a long time ago, I had moved here from Madison. This school was not an improvement on the last one. While I only had one teacher that was bad, looking back, the school was too low-budget to effectively let students learn. Heck, we use(d) the bottoms of little circle tub-things as drums and the lunchroom was bland and probably an old storage room. Not to mention the principal was a nightmare who tried to get me held back because I was gone for 5 days.(I was gone because I broke my leg.) I’m pretty sure that principal was fired, but this just shows what qualities the expect in their principals and I doubt they’re not much more than what she showed.

I love this school! My son loves it too. He has been nurtured by his teacher, and made many new friends after we moved there. I highly recommend this school.

We choiced our children to Lowell and wish we would have done so earlier. We are happy with the quality of education, the teachers are warm and enthusiastic for their students to learn, as well as open to parent involvement. The Special Ed area is the best we've experienced, and the "typical" kids include the Special Needs kids in a nurturing way which benefits the student body as a whole. The eagerness to learn and peer empathy that so easily is established here doesn't translate to any existing standardized test structure, but will be an important part of my children's lives well beyond the scope of grades.
