This school is the WORST school a kid could ever go too. So my daughter needed a little extra attention, because of autism, & they told her she needs to go to a different school because they didn't have Anything to help her, which isn't fair. Because they shuld always have extra help available for kids who need it cause it limits the kids & parents choices for education, now she had to go to a public school which wasn't good for her. Also my daughter got into a fight with a girl & had bruises. The kids there are out of control, & the teachers are terrible too. DONT GO HERE.

Saint Peter and Paul is the best choice for a catholis education in the City of Waterbury. I have two children enrolled who are recieving a quality education, great after school programs and made lifelong friendships. They have enjoyed Art Club, Intramural Sports program, Cooking Club and Peer Tutoring. Communication with the teachers has been a breeze on the website and grades can be checked through a password protected site so you can really stay on top of what's going on. The principal is a great leader of the school is always available for parent questions. She attends every school function, HSA meeting, you know her heart is in the school. The parent's are encouraged to volunteer and our ideas are valued. In turn parent involvment is an active partnership and is top notch.

I want to start out this review with an explanation of why I feel the way I do. My son attened SSPP for pre-k classes. My son was a little wild and needed a little extra attention. One day my son had a tantrum and they quickly told me to take my son else where as they did not have the time or resources to help him. It took alot of searching but now my son is a straight "A" student, no meds and most certainly no religion. I have been a catholic all my life and was proud of it. That is no longer the case. I havent been to church or any other religious services. The catholic church shunned my son, in effect destroying my faith. If you love your children and they have any problems at all with self control, this is not the school for you. Just my 2 cents. I wouldnt step foot in that or any other church. They turned their back on me and my family and told us to take our son and go elsewhere. Mission accomplished. While they may be a good school for most children, they are a horrible school for children who need alittle extra efforts.

Sts. Peter and Paul is an excellent prep school for High School and beyond. The teachers and staff are nurturing and professional. My children have gone onto high school and college and are honors students because of the training they received from SSPP. I still have one child at SSPP and continue to be happy with the education, community and involvement. It is the school where you get the most for your money. It is the best bargain in town. After researching, I have found the SSPP is the least expensive parochial school in the City of Waterbury because of our nominal fees. Terrific facilities with state of the art science program and lab, media center, gymnasium, kitchen with daily lunch served at a nominal fee and so much more... If you want to be a part of your child's education and meet some wonderful people join the SSPP community.
