I heard about this school through Ms. Nash and how my son could benefit from the services the school provides with independent learning styles. She told me how her son had grown so much with his IEP. When I first transferred my son into The Children’s Guild, I was excited and nervous at the same time. I was excited because my son would have a school that is passionate to build and work around his IEP. In the beginning, there was very bad communication about what it would look like for him, who his teachers were, and transportation for him (the process of documentation for OSSE). However, with the help of Ms. Nash and Dr. Jackson helped with the whole process and I haven’t had a problem. I love the whole the SPED team they have been helping my son from the beginning and I have really been seeing a difference with his overall growth. His lead teacher Ms. McLeod has been building his confidence and reading growth. I would definitely recommend other families to this school.

This school is absolutely amazing. I needed aSchool that made my son feel comfortable. My son struggled with reading, math and speech. After several years of attending The Children’s Guild my son is now in Honors courses and is often chosen to speak in his class. What a huge difference! He often helps me work through being an adult with all of the coping skills he has learned. My son has his forever home at TCGDC… I recommend this school 100%!
