WS High is a small school with a big heart. Staff members are caring and kind, and students are respectful. Safety is a priority and the historic building, is well maintained. Class sizes are small, giving students the opportunity to have a more personalized learning experience.

Ware Shoals High is a hidden gem! The teachers are student focused and have a heart for service. I couldn't be happier with my child's educational experience. Thank you Ware Shoals School District!

Very thankful for the hard working faculty and staff at Ware Shoals High school. Our community is fortunate to have a safe school where students' needs are made a priority.

I recently left this school in 2017 because of medical complications, however, I may speak from experience that this is a terrible school. Education quality aside, as the teachers can be a mixed bag between wonderful and insufferable, the building itself is likely dangerous to students and staff health. The building is nearing 100 years of age while lacking needed renovations to remove and replace rusted out pipes which taint the water with rust (if you entered the building on any day before the students arrive and run the water in any sink or toilet, it will come out opaque and dark orange with rust, and is always tinted orange after being run for a while), as well as exposed pipes that are within arms' reach, wrapped in something I can only hope is not asbestos insulation but may be due to the building's age. There is a hallway in which the ceiling is far lower than usual, where even I at 4'11'' can touch them above my head. These pipes are present throughout the entire building however. Regardless of poor funding or poor fund management, I am concerned for the health of the attendees of the school, students as well as staff, and am quite frankly baffled at how the school has not been shut down for various health and safety hazards.

You want to go to a good school......PLEASE don't come to Ware Shoals High School. I thought when I got to Ware shoals High, I was going to have a good time making friends and befriending teachers. I had the making friends parts down but this staff is something else. All they do is pick favorite students and then they pretty much ignore rest and don't even get me started on the principle Mr. Paul Anderson. He is a terrible principle and i not just saying that because I am a student and no student likes school. I'm saying it because he never punish the people he likes and he all has something smart to say to students even though we try and talk to him like a normal person. I have never seen a bad principle till I step through the doors Ware Shoals High School and seen Mr. Paul Anderson. he doesn't care about the safety of his students. just last year, two young males was about to fight out side in front of the school just as school was letting out and I sat there and told him they were and all he did was nothing. Then when they starting fighting, he just stood their for like 30 seconds. Then he walked over their so lazy like. So.. PLEASE don't bring your child here, they don't care

Mr. Paul Anderson is the reason that I work at Ware Shoals High School. He is a teacher's principal and supports us in every way. He does a remarkable job with the limited resources that he is proved by the state. Congratulations Mr. Anderson for a job well done and thank you for your continued hard work. We appreciate you.
