Cherokee Trail is an awesome school. Athough we have top scores and high academic achievement, this is not the main reason that our school is special.We are like a family, working together toward a common goal--educating our precious children. In addition, we are blessed with a strong community of parents and grandparents who really care about their children and give strong support to the faculty and staff.

I feel like the inclusion of parents is limited to the "elite"; parents that are friends with the teachers, parents that work in the community or are able to volunteer for every event or activity. The school does not make it easy for the children of working/single parents to be or even feel included. This causes a great deal of stress for both the "outsider", both child and parent.

I loved this school at first but after the first year there I noticed a significant change, in my child and the things she was saying and acting was not my child I had meetings with teachers guidance principal but no one seemed to care they just sent me letters every time he/she missed school even after the doctor excused most of the days absent. The kids there are really bad they try and act like the older 6th and 7th graders in the third grade I saw pictures of one third grader who was on social media and she was posing in lingerie as her profile picture I Told my Child she would not be friends with that child because obviously the parents don't care and mind what their kids do and say. That's the entire third fourth and fifth grade kids actions my child will not go back next year for sure

I was previously a student at Cherokee Trail. In all honesty, I am glad to have finally graduated and went on to high school. Though there are many caring teachers, there are far more that are just mean for no reason. They often times use verbal assaults and degradation until the child is in tears, and then yell at the child for crying. If a child is being bullied, the teachers do little to nothing to help. If they do anything, they talk with the bullying students and give them a miniscule punishment. Then, they just forget about the indecent and the bullying

I love CTE its amazing. My child just moved and she loves it. the have a great staff.I heard that the principle often raises his voice to students who disobey but other than that its great. this school has high academic programs and uses a lot of tech. I think its great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My child loves CTE! He has had great success and is treated equelly to the other children! Every teacher cares about their students and goes above and beyond to ensure their success!
