I would not send your child to Walpole elementary school. The teachers are of no help to the students. These children have 6 classes a day with multiple assignments all due at once. The work load is overbearing and strenuous on these children and teachers aren’t understanding of kids becoming frazzled and insist it’s to help them prepare for high school level work. The high school level work by the way is only 4 classes a day compared to the 6 they take at the middle school. The multiple binders, folders, and notebooks (disorganization disguised as supposed organization) caused my child more of a headache, but also caused him to lose focus on the important stuff. Instead of being excited for class and what he was going to learn that day, he was more focused on where he was going next and how he was going to continue to do this all day and get all his assignments done that week. Also there is a lot of gossip, cliques, peer pressure, fitting in, bullying, cyberbullying, drama, friend conflict, and social hierarchies not only between students but within the staff and administrators as well.

If I had a choice to send my child somewhere else, I would. I do not like the administration of this school. Thankfully many of the teachers are excellent. However, the approach by administration negatively impacts the environment.

I think that this school has a lot to offer it's students with advanced education.
