They punish ALL the kids for the actions of of a few, a system that does not work & is not allowed in most schools. The principal does not answer e-mails & never seems to have time to talk to anyone. The students lose recess time for nearly any type of talking, even gym time, so not a physically healthy environment, & only 1 recess per day. The teachers are nice, the kids do learn, but the environment does not seem very fun for the kids. Most parents do not get involved. Some strange administrative things here it seems.

Because of the merit system that was implemented the start of the 2011 year for 5-8 graders, children DO NOT receive a warning first. Parents cannot be in school with their child to teach them what is right and what is wrong, therefore it is the teachers responsibility to do that. Every child should receive a warning to know what is wrong and why. Not slap a demerit or a detention on the first offense.
