Worst private school , admission staff are unprofessional and unpleasant . Never even responded my email /calls to reschedule our meeting . Do not waste your time and money here , especially Asian families , stay away from this school for the sake of your kid

A unique focus on the whole child - academic, social emotional and critical thinking approach as early as preschool. A great amount of intention towards teaching children how to think rather than what to memorize and also leadership skills starting in Kindergarten all the way through middle school.

We switched from public school, and the differences are astounding. My children are happy, surrounded by kind and engaged peers, and learning a lot. All staff have been extremely positive, helpful, and welcoming.

We have been at the school for several years and we have lived through the changes in administration over the past several years. The current leadership, we find, has transformed administration, procedures and faculty quite a bit - to overall become more effective and efficient in handling curriculum, learning opportunities for the students as well as finances. Overall, we find the school has become more structured - of course not always to the liking of everyone - but we feel to the benefit of the classrooms, learning environment and the students – which overall is really what counts. Our kid loves going to school at Seven Hills – he feels at home there and enjoys the learning opportunities and handles them well. As parents, we feel he is encountering very dynamic and inclusive ways of learning skills and material that are also outside from a traditional curriculum (math, language arts, etc.) like coping skills, being a tinkerer, becoming a flexible thinker, transferring learned material to other context, etc – which in our opinion are all very valuable skills for the students future. Hence, in our opinion Seven Hills Middle School students are able to produce work that in other places not even High School students are able to showcase (students work is often showcased and shared with the community at school.) The school has a clear mission and clear goals (see their website), and we feel strongly that current leadership keeps reminding administrators and faculty regularly to what the ultimate focus is and it seems to work at all levels – Admission, Administration, Faculty, Community, etc. We feel, we have made the best choice for our child and have not regretted the big step we committed to years ago... we wish the school would have a High School associated with them - we definitely would stay on!

We have been satisfied with the school on all levels. My children love coming to school and love learning. The faculty and administration know my kids, and my kids are learning skills valuable both inside and outside the classroom. Seven Hills raises great, curious, responsible and respectful children. My oldest child was so prepared for the world of High School when he graduated.

My wife grew up at a private school and won't look at the public schools near our house. We're stuck at Seven shills and we're part of a growing group of parents who are miserable.

We have three students at SHS, and have been there for 9 years. In spite of two retirements from administrators, an inevitability at any institution, the school has continued to run smoothly and beautifully. Our children are constantly engaged by incredible teachers, swept up by whatever they're currently learning, have evolved as people and students each year, and impress other parents, and even educators, when they meet new people. It's not unusual to hear, "Where do your kids go to school?! They're so mature!" SHS focuses upon building a love of learning, and that's no mere platitude. They reward children who ask "what happens if...?" They encourage follow up and independent study. And they provide many opportunities for children to stand before their peers and share their knowledge. Every student performs in front of fellow students and parents multiple times per year, and by the time they graduate, they are completely poised in front of audiences. There is always going to be some lemon squeezing amongst parents, but by and large, the complaints I have, and my peers have voiced, are negligible when compared with the exceptional level of education overall.

The seven Hills School was a second home to my Children who spent 8 years growing up there. Something started to go wrong when lower school head retired last year. This year whole school head announced his retirement as well. There is a lot of false advertising about this place, and while it looks appealing on the outside, the inner content is lacking and insufficient if not fraudulent.

Seven Hills has been a dream for my preschooler! He loves coming to school every day. His teachers are very caring and talented. His confidence, speaking ability, enthusiasm for learning, and kindness to others has all grown noticeably over the past few months.

After 9.5 years as a dedicated parent and volunteer with my two kids dreaming of graduating with their friends from preschool, the middle school head and a teacher in middle school began discriminating against me as a single Mother and bullying my Daughter for not understanding some homework. They suddenly introduced iPads to replace ALL books and expect the students to be responsible and basically figure it out...? For $25,000 a year? No thanks! My child developed anxiety doctor diagnosed due to this schools treatment of her, and so they accused me the parent, of breach of contract, and cancelled both my kids mid year! They do not care for Children! They are not child centered! They do not offer due process or equity & justice! A sad waste and huge loss for our family.
