Unsafe, not enough teachers to monitor students. The classrooms are fine, it’s just the hallways and lunch line are really bad. Average of 1 altercation per day. Would not recommend.

This school was wonderful when my eldest child went through it a few years ago. However since then there is a new principal who does nothing to improve the climate of the school. I’ve seen her as she runs around barking and yelling at students. she is a community member (which I personally think should not be allowed) of our school and parents and students can see she is clearly playing favorites while targeting others. Her reactive approach to issues is running this school into the ground. I’m glad that my children will soon be out of this school.

im currently a 8th grader in WMS,and so far my experience is horrible. The teachers barley take initiative in helping their students.my learning experience hasn't been that good. Teachers do NOT pay attention to the different learning ways and learning capabilitys. This school dose nothing about bullying or anything in that note. The admin and teachers do nothing but lecture us and DO absolutely nothing to help students.

I am currently an 8th grader of this school. And to put it nicely this school sucks the bathrooms are not clean I have gone into the girls bathroom and have seen dried blood from who knows how long. Ive seen flies and all of the sorts there is a rat problem and they won't fix it. The teachers play favorites the clearly bad kids get off with a warning and nothing happens.kids are made fun of for there race, gender, sexuality and I know that teachers have heard it and yet done nothing about it. Personally my teachers are better good and I am so thankful for them yet feel awful because they work at this school.So to sum it up this school is disgusting, there is favoritism, and people can get away with bullying. This school was supposed to be a safe place for all and yet it isn't I cannot wait to leave.And oh did I mention kids do drugs? I've seen them vape and yet nothing has been done!This school doesn't have much to pride itself on.

My daughter is attending and about to be pulled. I actually have video of her she took while being bullied by the known school bully who physically and verbally assaults students daily with no consequences. The principal is pathetic for lack of a better word. Does nothing about these kind of students and usually blames the victim. It’s a sad disgusting racist environment with poor leadership and values. I moved from pg county because of these issues with my older daughter and here we are again. My daughter loved school till this year. The staff for the majority is a complete disgrace. A handful of good teachers and that’s it. They do not support fair play, treatment or educational standards equally and are a embarrassment to this county. I stand firmly behind all items mentioned above.

I enjoy Walkersville middle school as I am going into my last year there.I feel like teachers could pay more attention to whats going on around them as one kid walked by a hallway full of teachers drinking red bull.The academic part is very well.I myself am an above average student and I never get bored.They give us challenging engaging work.The school is not very nice looking though.Shoutout to some very good teachers at WMS,Mr.Shoemaker,Ms.Love,and Mr.Silver

My children attended Walkersville Middle School, and they had a great principal and really good teachers, and they received a good education. The only reason why I gave a 3 out of 5 stars is because of the rudeness of the lady at the front office who answered the phone. I was calling from out of state trying to get information, and she impatiently asked me if I was finished; while replying to her in mid-sentence, she hung up on me.
