I wish it would be shut the hell down! Worst school on this earth!!! If I had the school boards number I’d complain about everyday! They also just started on uniforms SUCH A JOKE $40 a shirt your kid grows and a child is gonna get messy at school they swear it’ll save you money but it won’t! They say it’s to prevent bullying, it’s not about what you wear here it’s about your grades and how much money you make if your VIP your good as GOLD you can stab a teacher and walk away from it she or he will forgive you with a apology letter. This school is the worst place to send your child I’m not sugar coating anything but either do a free online school OR try McLeod beg them if you have to but do not EVER send your child to this hell hole

Great school ! They have more things for the kids now... like those special Fridays when our children were jeans or a special event is happening. No school is perfect, but my kids are happy here.

Vivian school has gotten worse throughout the years. Not enough teachers care about the kids anymore and not enough staff happily do their jobs. This school is now more concerned on how a child is dressed rather than the children's education. They make the rules up as they go through the year to best fit them and not Caddo parish. They have no problem telling parents something but in return will deny saying it and will add things that were not said to the child. I went to this school growing up and I loved it. I on the other hand do not like what it has become and if there was a reasonable choice for my children then I would send them somewheres else. This school is a joke! Kids are always getting urinary tract infections because they do not like to send kids out of classroom the bathroom and they stop the children from entering the bathrooms between classes and from getting a drink of water. If they were concerned about our children then they would care about their health and their grades. NOT their clothes! This school is becoming ridiculous. If this offends you then I am sorry , but you know what they say... The truth hurts.

I am a grandma but am involved with the teachers at Vivian Elementary School. I would like to say that the teachers are all very professional and very loving with all the children in the care. My sons went to Plain Dealing,La I thought they were good but so far I see where the Vivian teachers go above and beyond. I have no doubt that my grand children will do great in this school. From the principle on down are excellent in my estimation.

Shame on the person below, obviously she didn't do her job. Vivian has some of the hardest working teachers and administrators. They care for every child and do their best to make sure everyone reaches their potential. This school has great community spirit and is an asset to the town. Great school with great staff!! Keep up the good work. ~ A dedicated warrior.

The person that posted on Sept 3rd, undoubtedly does not know our school. As a child, I went to school here, I work here, and it is the school of choice for my grandchildren. It is not a perfect school, there is no such thing. As for the principal, you can not find a harder working person for our school. She is dedicated to the school and the success of it. She doesn't ask anything of her staff that she would not do herself. She truly loves every student at the school. I hope that unhappy teacher finds his/her perfect school. I know where mine is VEMMS---Go Warriors !

Awesome staff and students! Great moral ethics and tight nit community. All three of my kids have been going here all their lifeand Ilove being a substitute here! Thanks VEMMS, GO WARRIORS!
