I've learned in my time here that there is no problem that this administration can solve. The school culture is awful and it seems like theres a big fight I hear about every other couple of weeks. The workload I've received in most of my classes has led me to struggle to keep a healthy work/life balance, and that's not even taking my job into account. The one thing they did right was letting students come to UBTech. I've had a couple of good teachers but the other ones have been incompetent. Learned that you cannot personally criticize this school without being pulled into the office for interrogation. This school, along with the school board, needs an overhaul and fast, or these new students coming in are in for a hellish four years.

The administration is ridiculous. They're only there to collect a paycheck and don't care about the students and also don't want fun to be in school. Would not recommend. I'm now in college and am very underprepared for the workload compared to the rest of the students in my classes.

The administration is a joke. All they care about is getting paid. I am currently a student here and a week ago, i received a parking ticket for a day that I was excused from school. This whole school is a complete joke.

I am a student here at Uintah High and I absolutely love this school! Uintah high offers some college classes to students from across the street at the Uintah Basin Applied Technology College (UBATC). Teachers are great, administration is great, school spirit is amazing, and sorry I have to brag but Uintahs drill team is beyond amazing taking state for 4 years straight in 3AA and first in 4A region and state is next week! If you truly want your student to have the best education possible, run far away from this school. It's unlikely their needs will be met, and much of their potential will be wasted. The administration is a complete joke. They tend to get so wrapped up in trivial issues that more often than not the bigger problems slip through the cracks. As far as teachers go, some are good, some are really really bad, and some have just given up. Troubled and struggling students are usually completely swept under the rug or handed off to Ashley Valley Education Center so they won't be in the way anymore. While many boast the school's vast array of extracurricular activities, the sad truth remains that the art and music programs are on the verge of collapse, despite these teachers' best efforts. Nearly all of the funding goes into sports and other teams like drill and cheer, without so much as a second glance at these other programs.
