- Submitted by parent on February 16, 2012My daughter began her kindergarten year here with a teacher whom we all love. She was already reading well into the 1st grade level and her math scores were just as impressive. She was the only kindergarten student on this level so they sent her to a 1st grade class for reading. By the time students returned from Thanksgiving break we all, teachers principal my husband and myself, all decided that she needed to be in 1st grade. She was moved and is still thriving with another wonderful teacher. I appreciate that they were able to work with her and still work with her to reach her full educational capabilities. She loves school and loves to learn and I know that is she didn't have such great teachers, it may not be the same.
