I graduated from Immanuel and now that I have my own kiddos I want to send them there, too! Excellent school with staff members who truly care about their students. Immanuel is hands down the best school in the area.

We love Immanuel! My kids look forward to going to school and are always welcomed by caring teachers and friends. The teachers reach each of my children where they are at and help them grow and love learning. Not only are the academics top notch, but I love all the special classes that they attend- music/choir, art, Spanish, library, PE. I especially love that my kids are able to grow their faith each day.

Horrible preschool. They cannot handle small children and make them sit in a circle time for 45 minutes. Check out other area preschools. You will thank me later. We know many families that leave here after one year.

I have two children at Immanuel Lutheran and I am so glad I chose to have them attend this school. I have one child with ADHD and the school has provided him the environment he needs, which could not be matched in other schools. The teachers and administration are loving and responsive to each students needs. The academics are top notch. The after school programs are enriching and the school keeps growing with after school STEM. But most important, your child will get a foundation that is unmatched with other school options. Your child grows spiritually and academically. The success stories coming from this school are ongoing. Best choice we ever made.

I am a graduate of Immanuel as are all of my children. My husband and I have been very pleased with the education our children received at Immanuel in preschool-8th grade. I love the christian atmosphere, strong academics and family feel the minute you walk in the door. They helped us create a strong base for our children to build on the rest of their lives.

Immanuel has very good teachers who make sure to personally know every student, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I attended from preschool all the way through eighth grade and I definitely felt that my education was marvelous. Having the common aspect of faith as well as the fact that you have the same people in all of your years there allows for strong friendships. Overall, Immanuel is an excellent school!

I have been involved with Immanuel not only as a parent, but as a student. Many private schools are not able to offer as many opportunities as Immanuel. The academics are top notch. One of my children is gifted/talented and he is provided enriching actives to help him to keep him challenged. My other child has a minor learning disability, she receives all of the extra help she needs from her teachers. I feel I am kept in the loop with her education. She is pushed to do her best. The music program is one of the best in the state. It is a true blessing to hear these children sing. Immanuel has many after-school clubs and activities for kids to get involved with - drama, academic teams, all sports, and many more. I know when I left Immanuel to enter into the public school life, I was academically ready for any challenge and feel my kids will be as well.

Immanuel Lutheran School is an amazing place. Our son loves his school, and as a parent, what more could we ask for? The moment you walk in the door, you can feel how special Immanuel is. The atmosphere is nurturing & the education is top notch; tailored to each childs needs. The teachers & staff are amazing. First and foremost, we chose Immanuel because it's education is centered in Christ and Christian principles. Class sizes are small, and each class has a strong close knit sense of community. There is a strong emphasis on music & art, which is also important to our family; something public schools tend to drop when funding is low. The PTL is amazing & keeps parents active and involved. Immanuel is an amazing school that has been in the community long enough to educate 3 generations. The teachers are caring and compassionate with each child. They consistently are one of the highest scoring schools in Valparaiso on ISTEP testing. Parents are welcomed into the school to help with small groups, lunch, library and parent teacher leagues. Overall, this is one of Valparaiso's best kept secrets.

Our children have attended Immanuel Lutheran for many years. Our oldest child is now in high school, and we ve found that the superior academic foundation from Immanuel more than prepares students for the rigors of high school. Besides academic excellence, Immanuel also offers a broad spectrum of other enriching learning opportunities such as: Spanish, Choir, Chess Club, Sports, Yearbook, Book Buddies, Music, Art, Computer, Gym, Plays, Musicals, Spell Bowl, Academic Challenge, opportunities to volunteer in church, and various PTL family activities. We also like that Immanuel welcomes parental involvement. Best of all, Immanuel offers a Christian Education, a nurturing environment, and a caring, dedicated staff!

Immanuel has been such a blessing to our family! Our son loves his school so much! He has received a excellent Christ centered education and I feel the morals he has learned he will take with him for the rest of his life. Immanuel is more than just a school it is a family. We are truly blessed to be a part of Immanuel! The teachers are always available to help , they are just a phone call away! I can't say enough good things about his education! I would recommend Immanuel to anyone!

Love, love, love Immanuel! It's more than a school it is a family. The teachers are amazing, the students are incredibly respectful and truly care for one another. The academics are challenging, but are taught in a way that make it easy for the student to grasp. The children learn about helping others in need through various outreach programs. My children actually look forward to going to school. Best investment I've ever made!

My kids love Immanuel! There is religion in their everyday class studies, but both of my kids enjoy learning about all the stories of the bible. Before coming to Immanuel our family did not attend church regularly, but after joining we look forward to attending church and socializing with other members. The school is awesome! We are able to talk to the teachers (who are caring and supportive) and know what is going on with our kids and what they are excelling in and what they need help with. Being able to see their classrooms on a day to day bases is great. Along with seeing the beautiful artwork from all grades framing the hallways. The different grade levels choirs are amazing! There are so many different ways for my kids to show and use their talents at Immanuel.

Excellent school!! I moved to Valpo so that my child could attend Immanuel. Not only do they emphasize religion and accademics, but they also value music, art, and physical education (which is lacking in some schools). The teachers are understanding and caring. It is worth the time, effort, and financial planning to send my child to Immanuel. There is no other choice for my family!

Nice people. Not the best school unless your really set on bible learning. Everytime you turn around they want more money and more money. If you think your child will get extra attention or special help your wrong. You can pay for tutor if you want $30/hr +. If you think your child will not be bullied you are very wrong!! There are very bad incidents at this school and you will not be contacted about them. They are very bad about that. I do believe this school was great several years ago but has went way down hill. Save your money.
