We have had a 5 star experience at this school. For a public school we believe they have performed better than the local private schools in so many areas. They are very good at communication and when there have been discrepancies they have been accountable in every way. Their approach to education is progressive and my daughter did very well academically while attending this school, compared to her time at the local catholic school, learning is fun! They offer great after school clubs where the children are celebrated for being a member. They offer celebrations and social events throughout the year - we have lived our time here!

I attended Ben Franklin for both 6th and 7th grade, and then moved to the west coast before 8th grade. What I have found out is how great the education in Valparaiso really was. BF offers many honors classes that allow students to learn at a faster pace, which cannot be found where I live. The sporting programs are way better than any I've seen, and the "specials" or Allied Arts classes are also wonderful. They allow students to take many interesting courses, not having to choose just one. Of course, like in any school there will be good teachers and bad teachers, social divides and outcasts, but in the end, if you are really going to school for the right purpose (to learn, that is), Benjamin Franklin exceeds all other schools I've seen. It is a wonderful learning environment, and most students there care about their grades and behave. In all honesty, BF is fantastic school and I really enjoyed my time there.
