The idea is that such a small school helps keep the classrooms small and more engaged. There are several classes that have near 24 students as they can't justify splitting a grade into smaller numbers as the kids get into third grade. Accessibility for the students with diverse needs is hard to motivate the district to meet, situationally it could be costs as they try to stay town funded. Because of the nature of being such a small setting their is definitely not a lot of experience with "different" which may cause a few issues. Some teachers are incredible to work with and will focus on adaptive learning techniques and teaching styles. A few are less on board. COVID highlighted this in a number of ways.

Both of my boys LOVE going to school. My experience with their teachers has been wonderful. They really help to bring out the best in the kids.

Extremely unfair school and unfair principal. It doesn't matter how well your child does at school, it only depends on who you are and who you know.
