I will be ecstatic when this school year ends because I’ve had the worst experience with this school. They constantly bully my 5 year old son because I won’t agree to put him on medication for not “sitting still”. They harass me daily with phone calls about him acting like a 5 year old BOY.When they stopped getting a reaction from me they began bombarding me with emails and texts messages about him hitting other students which is not true because on several occasions my son has told me kids have hit him and when he told an adult(which I’ve instructed him to do) they disregarded him and never once reported this to me.They even went as far as asking my permission to paddle him which will NEVER happen. With that being said I would not recommend this school. They need to be investigated and also that school needs more diversity.

Bob Harding Shawmut Elementary is a school where everyone is like one big family. All the teachers are so friendly, and most importantly, my child is treated like one of their very own children. They set a very high bar in regards to learning, however, our children continue to meet, and exceed the expectations that are set before them.
