Poor administration and no discipline. Principle does nothing to back up teachers and students do what they want with zero repercussions.

We attended this school last year. The principal plays favorites and has very little compassion for her student body. The principal and most the teaching staff is terrified of the parent base, which makes for terrible communication btwn the two parties. Bullying is tolerated and handled by punishing those being bullied. Discrimination runs rampart. My kids first grade teacher was the ONLY bright spot last year..My other child's 3rd grade teacher should not be teaching. she blames the children for her inability to teach and keep them in line.Children are not allow to go to the bathroom during class time, if they do they are punished and must give back the time they "took" from their teachers. We ended up going to the school board for some help. Granted the principal was a first year principal, I know that can be very hard. Let's just say she needs some help.

Lincoln elementary is like a huge family where everyone knows each other and help each other. It may not be the biggest school in Vallejo , but it sure is the tightest . At this school, students, staff, and parents all work together to make it even a better school than it already is.
