In my 50 years of teaching as a sub I have never met such disrespectful and disgraceful children in my life!!! The 5th graders are HORRIBLE they scream they shout they curse, they fight . THE WHOLE SHABANG. For your safety and your child’s safety never send your children to this school EVER.

This school is horrible, My child hates coming to school every day never a day in her life this school year has she come home and told me "hey mommy I had a good day today!" NEVER, she had a whole nervous breakdown recently AT school crying shouting/screaming, a few other students were also done and had finally snaped.

My overall experience has been better than I expected. My son previously attended a private school but I feel he is getting a better, well-rounded education at KES. He LOVES his school! The small class sizes, secure school grounds, engaged parents and attentive administration are all major pluses for KES.

Poor. The teacher treats 5 and 6 years kids like they are not supposed to have bad days. I am very disappointed and my daughter doesn’t like the teacher anymore because of how she treated her when she was sick. She mad my daughter sick in her chair put her head down like she in some kind of punishment while her class mate are playing next to the teacher. My daughter was crying the whole time.

I was pleasantly pleased, any and every concern I've had has been addressed. The school provides many opportunities for parents to come and participate. Each time I have I have come, I often see some of the same parents as before and the teachers are very appreciative of the support.

As a parent and an educator, I can say that Kettering is failing our children. My child was assigned to this school, as we recently moved to this area, and while the Admin does a good job with bulling/behavior issues, the school overall is FAR behind academic growth and development. Further, there is no apparent evidence of lessons that incorporate creativity, universal learning strategies, or variations in teaching techniques that appeal to diverse learners. The primary focus of my child's day to day school life has been dedicated to "Red, Yellow, or Green" behavior checks. I am trying everything in my power to get my child OUT of this school before the year ends.

Kettering has changed for the better I have been at kettering for 3 years and i am proud to say that it was the best years I have spent at any school. The teachers communicate with parents, students are engrossed in the curricullum. Its surely not as ghetto as people think it is. Principle Talbert is really doing a good job. I loved my time being there made really good friends and just loved the experience and they have hands on experience field trips at the end of curriculum.
