Mrs. Butler doesn’t believe in award ceremonies each quarter to celebrate the kids accomplishments and recognize their hard word. But instead gives them a promotion ceremony for 5th grade where they are honoring kids for academics and improvements. The amount of kids that actually got awards was low compared to the high amount of kids who didn’t get any. What a way to make kids feel like they have done nothing. Teachers promising kids awards and telling them they are on honors for them to not receive an award. As well as the teachers who barely showed up to teach but were able to present awards. Kids were crying because they didn’t get anything. The principal is fake supportive and doesn’t care about the kids confidence. Very selfish and lazy of the staff and principal.

It is apparent the teacher doesn’t care about our child. Despite several request, we have absolutely no clue what our child is doing on a month to month, week to week let alone day to day basis. Principal doesn’t believe in homework so parents are even more out of thr loop. Parents aren’t allowed in the school. No parent engagement (no PTO). I ask my child everyday what they learned in school that day, the response is always we learn about nature or the weather….never anything substantive. It’s no surprise the test scores are so low. The current school formula doesn’t work. Our child will NOT be returning to Arrowhead Elementary school next year.

I love this school and wish it went up to 12th grade. My middle child was promoted from this school last year and her teachers and the staff were EXCELLENT!! I literally have no complaints. My youngest daughter still attends this school and I feel comfortable sending her to Arrowhead by herself. This school has a no hands policy and deals with bullying as soon as it's reported. The receptionist is always friendly and helpful whenever I call to report the bus being late. This school is very busy as there are a lot of children, however, the professionalism that I've experienced and have seen has been the best. My little 2nd grader enjoys going to school and majority of the teachers and staff know her by name. As a mother, it makes me feel happy and satisfied to know that school staff actually like your child and will tell you as well. Sometimes I drive my daughter to school and I'm proud to see the same faces standing outside with smiles greeting and literally assisting each drop off child with opening the car/truck doors of the parents vehicles and guiding each student to the sidewalk to enter the school, whether it's sunny, rainy, snowing or sleeting the staff is there with smiles. I love it! Keep up the great work ArrowHead Elementary!

My main issue is the main office. The Secretary has a terrible habit of not listening. I can't end my sentences because she interjects every other word. I have been in the office and watched the receptionist hanging up on callers instead of putting them on hold. Also, the teachers seem to lack eye for detail... yes I get there's a lot of students but there has to be a better grading system.

It's not most of the staff but the students, there is constant bullying and just plain out rudeness. And like I said most of the staff some of the staff in my experience are not fair and noisy always in your private affairs -student

It's an absolute shame how horribly bad an elementary school can get to be within this county. It just sickens me every time I think about. My son has been in 3 public schools this being the 3rd since kindergarten and not one has sown worthy of a 5 star rating. But speaking on Arrowhead. Overcrowded classrooms, Horrible classroom management, Horrendous administrators, staff, and assistants. No one cares least of the parents who send their little demons to school everyday to terrorize those kids who are just trying to get an education and come home in peace. My son has been subjected to hearing so many disgusting, vile, and evil things that he had never in his 8 years of living been subjected to hearing. Now I'm left with the burden of explaining why someone who say something so crazy. The kids their force your child to grow up to fast because they are super exposed to all sorts of adult content at home and they have no filter at that age. The teachers do nothing but change the color of the behavior chart as if that is really going to do something. I'm so tired of this county's schools and wished to GOD I never invested in a home here. Luckily that is something I can correct.

This school is definitely not what it use to be. I have three kids that are attending ranging from K-3. The classrooms are overcrowded and the students are not getting the attention that is needed. The 3rd grade teachers are extremely young with an "out dont care" attitude.
