All of our children had a great experience @ UCES and the teachers and staff were top notch. They truly care about their students and do their absolute best to provide a conducive learning environment and meet the needs of every child.

there the best school. the teachers are great, they help kids when they need help and as a parent im 100 percent satisfied. I see a lot of bad reviews and its a shame because my children and my self are finally happy they can go to a school and fit in, along with the teachers who actully care about kids and there parents!

Horrible, No Excuses. I was a student at Union City from kindergarten to 12 grade and I have disabilities in learning, cognitive impairment and this school pretty much left students with special needs behind and focused on students that made the school look good with sports or scholarships and such. I could have had a better education if the teachers actually cared and we're willing to help me learn than sit on their butts or make excuses. Hopefully no child has to go through what I went through in this so called school district. How may times does it take union city's teachers, school board or who ever is in charge for them to realize that I have a learning disability and have failed 3 times in pre algebra and then place myself in geometry.... are you serious?!?! It was worse from there, fair warning please watch out for this school district parents and students.

We had a terrible experience. Our daughter started kindergarten after a successful year in preschool. There was staff problems in her classroom and immediately after the sub entered our daughter was being treated very poorly and getting multiple wrote up and time in the schools ISS room. We tried to set up meeting with faculty to assess the problem but only one of the meetings was ever followed through and we were told we had 10 minutes. We requested the principal and counselor be present and the principal never came. Two other meeting we waited and were told the faculty did not have time. Our daughter deteriorated very quickly and when we mentioned pulling her the school refused to release her records for transfer. We were never allowed to view her record at the school but when we transferred there was over 62 write ups and 32 hours of ISS we were not informed of. She is top of her class and striving again at her new school and has been there almost a full year. My turning point is when, at 5, she got into my car and said she tries so hard to be good but she's just not a good girl anymore and how sorry she was. I call ed the school about my concerned and they suspended her the next day. She never went back. Many other parents in that class were having similar problems and everything was documented. The superintendent refused to see us afterwards as well. We are very thankful for our transfer and the work the school put into retrieving her records so she didn't have to go back.

A big disappointment the students don't get the help that is needed. Students are treated unfairly.Teachers aides are rude. The teachers an staff seem to just be in it for the money not for the students which is very sad. I was told the school has improved a lot an was a lot better which is obviously not the case. I know my child will not attend this school next year.
