My student was able to earn college credits and high school credits at UHS and it was so helpful when he went to college. It was all paid for. They have an amazing robotics program and dedicated teachers. We love UHS

As an outsider, I see that the school is now offering a class to teach students the basic carpenter trades that they will use for either a profession or for experience learned to apply in their own future homes. Also, I note that there is a class available to teach students who are Spanish speakers, classes to improve the English language. These are outstanding offerings, and I would encourage to bring back homemaking classes where the students can learn the basics of cooking, sewing, and other household projects. The idea of bringing back an auto-mechanic class would also be quite beneficial for encouraging elementary mechanic carriers. I applaud the school board for encouraging the students with these offerings.

Though the teachers are generally pretty good, the administration does not work well with it's students. Clubs and individuals know now to count on them. There is also a lot of discrimination against people from low socioeconomic backgrounds and Hispanic families. Abuse of power is an issue too.
