I'm sure the school is a great School but I recently attended the Grandparents Day breakfast and I was very disappointed the food they gave these children and myself I do not ever start my day with sugar. I'm hoping these kids do not start their day with sugar all we got was one donut for me no drinks water is great the my granddaughter got more sweet a tiny funnel cake looking item with powdered sugar a fruit cup and milk there was nothing there that I saw was good for these kids nor myself I have never made breakfast with sugar items. What happened to cereal no sugar cereal what happened to eggs and Ham or sausage or bacon? Then you wonder why these kids are so hyper? Because they are being fed nothing but sugar in the morning and the teachers and everybody has to deal with that hyperness do not blame the kids for hyperness y'all need to get a better breakfast menu to show at least to show us parents grandparents great grandparents that these kids are being fed correctly. And I don't want to hear about money or not having it because our families pay plenty of high tax dollars to have our kids while taking care of when they are eating at a school I even told my granddaughter this is not good for you to eat in the morning no sugars. I hope and pray that next year will be a better Grandparents Day as far as the menu is is concerned. All staff and workers were very kind very good working but you just got to change that menu I will not go to a breakfast with nothing but sugars if I see that again next time I will take my own breakfast and take my granddaughters own breakfast to school I will not deal with sugars have a good day and I hope next year will be better. Also the only reason I would not recommend this school is because there's already too many too full of a school it was very packed there and very loud.

We have our 2 daughters enrolled here since kindergarten. Their teachers have been absolute gems. Strong curriculum, caring and responsive teachers and great and managing bullying. We are very appreciative of the support and attention we've received as a family

Best school. Awesome principal, great teachers and caring staff. You really can’t ask for more. The school is small and very intimate. I would trust my kids here for the rest of their elementary career.

I just started working at Ladera and I am so impressed with the staff, students, and parents. It is a beautiful school with caring staff, involved parents, and wonderful students. Ladera is one of the smaller elementary schools in the area which helps gives it a more intimate feeling. An overall excellent school!

I have had kids at Ladera since 2006. We have been very pleased with the teachers interactions with our children. We have always felt a sense of family at this school.

Ladera is an amazing elementary school. I have a daughter that finished two years ago and a son that is in 3rd grade now. The teachers are fantastic and the two principals have been very hard working. Since it is a smaller school, the students get great one on one attention. I feel so fortunate to be able to attend Ladera.

My sons have attended Ladera for the past 3 years and we’ve been so pleased with the quality of the teachers, the learning, the leadership, the PTO and parent support. It truly is an outstanding school and it’s a privilege to be a part of the Ladera family.

We love the small tight-knit community that Ladera has the offer. The teachers, principal, and PTO are very involved and get things done. The parents are committed to their children's education. The school is diverse and I love that there are students with disabilities at the school as it teaches students about accepting of each other's differences.

Coming from an "over-active" involved parent, it's a gem of a school. It's small and mighty with great teachers, PTO, and us parents helping to make it amazing for our kids. You can really tell all parties involved are really trying their best to make Ladera an amazing place to learn and grow with our kids.

Feels like private school. Very productive school and lots of talent!

This is our last year at Ladera. We have great experience at Ladera all the way from K-5. All teachers and staffs are nice and care for student wellness. PTO is awesome. I like to contribute to PTO in beginning of the year by writing a check and not worry about for the rest of year. My daughter likes working in smaller group with teacher helper that PTO hired.

10/10 one of the best in Irvine/Tustin area

Excellent experience so far. This year we had an amazing teacher and a progressive and warm principal. PTO does a great job of allocating funds toward programs and activities that most public schools cannot offer. Happy to be a Ladera Leopard!

It is a great school, but it is the parents that make it great. It is not really the teachers, or the principal, or the PTO. It is a lot of overbearing successful parents that want their kids to succeed. I am confident that any school can be as successful if the parents were as involved as they are at this school. Parents volunteer a lot of their time and spend a lot of time with their kids. We volunteered about 30 school days so far. I spend about 2 hours every day supervising my kids with their homework. It is tedious and the PTO is constantly begging for money, which likewise is tedious. Irvine has very good schools too, but for the same reason, very involved successful parents.

Great school for learning, if you can get past the PTO and the over active parents! The awful principal is gone!

Teachers are great! PTO is the best! Beautiful and safe environment! But current principle is terrible! Fortunately he is leaving. Looking forward to the new principle after summer.

We moved to Tustin mid-year and I really worried about my daughters having to transfer but we have had an excellent experience at Ladera. The teachers are fantastic, the quality of education is excellent, the students have been kind, responsible and friendly and the programs that Ladera offers have been top-notch. I couldn't have hoped for a better school for my girls. We're proud to be Leopards!
