Utt Middle School is a great middle school. The principal is great, the classes are great. There are 3d printers in the science classes, there is uniform for P.E, the teachers are very kind. The only con is the turnaround to get into the drop-off zone is weird, & I saw a car crash by the turnaround, other than that, great school.

This school was a very mixed one. There aren't many programs to enroll in, a large portion of students don't care about learning, and some teachers were unfocused on their students. Some teachers worked on personal matters during class, and never assigned real work. A lot of the students only come to hang out with their friends and to have fun. In terms of safety, many fights break out and the teachers don't do anything about it but break it up. In the 2021-2022 school year, many assemblies and precautions were made to encourage safety, yet in the 2022-2023 year, not much happened to stop outbreaks of violence. Academics are lacking, and students and teachers aren't motivated. I recommend attending another school where learning is seen as an opportunity rather than a forced task.

Horrible assistant principal and rude office lady. Great teachers however but Dawn Lam really threw me off and was treated my child horribly.

I was a student in sixth and half of seventh grade until I moved to Arizona. When I left Utt, I was devastated. The students and teachers there are amazing. Everyone is kind and helpful, and the teachers really want to help you. There is a great advanced learning program and the electives are amazing. The music teacher is probably the best teacher I've ever had and the Spanish teacher and curriculum is spectacular. Overall I completely recommend this school.

Excellent 6th grade year for my daughter, she made a seamless transition from elementary mostly due to this smaller school size. School environment is chilled, teachers are excellent, if overwhelming and chaotic schedules/activities/stress/super competitive environment is not for you kid, this is the perfect school for kids to focus on developing themselves rather then chasing high academic achievement and get all stressed out and they’re only in middle school. Smaller school=your kid get more attention & doesn’t get lost. I highly recommend this school and teachers/staff.

The school principal and assistant principal are not very welcoming if you have a child with special needs.

I am a former 6th grader at Utt and am going to be a 7th grader. This school is great I haven't seen better teachers or campus. I love this school with all my heart and soul, though some kids need to learn how to grow up and act mature. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend any other school take it from me. I cant wait for 7th Grade!!! GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!
