Bullying is a big problem. Administrative staff have posters all over the school with "anti-bully posters" but when physical violence is consistently happening in FRONT of staff and nothing is addressed, this is a problem. Communication is quite lacking between teachers and families.

This is a rural school where many staff members and students are related. There is definate favortism. Also, they do not enforce their no bullying code. Students are allowed to slap other students with no apparent consequence.

We opted out of the COMMON CORE tests this year and so believe me when I tell you the scores do NOT represent the true core teaching abilities of this facility. After having observed my son's teachers over the years since we have been here, I've been thoroughly impressed with their skill of communication and ability to teach at every level. This year my son has Cindy Curtis is she is amazing. I only wish she was my teacher when I was in school. Don't hesitate on enrolling your child(ren) in this school district. I've never had 1 single regret. P.S. I wrote the review about having moved here 3 years, but I'd like my name to go with this review and so I wrote another one.

Both my kids attend Tully Elementary. I have to say that the teachers, facilities and administration are amazing. Highly recommend!

Tully Elementary school has gone down greatly in the last 5-10 years. Constant administrative changes and an overall lack of leadership being the main culprit. Granted there are some great educators in the building however many are far less concerned with the children than looking out for themselves in a small town where everyone knows everyone else. Unfortunately for economic reasons we can't move out of the district but believe me if it was possible we would.

Tully School is a pretty average school. I think that the steady decrease in the quality of the community itself is starting to have a negative impact on the school though. I attended Tully School and I enjoyed the teachers and class options that were provided when I reached high school. Now, it's time for my children to prepare for school and my husband and I have decided not to go with Tully. We are moving to an area with a better community. I was also disappointed because Tully does not offer preschool like many other schools do.
