Oak Valley is amazing!!! The board is great, admin is great, teachers are great, students are great, and parents are great. We all get involved and it brings the entire school together as one big family. The school has made huge changes and amazing progress which I credit Mrs. Pilgrim and her rockstar team. When she came on board things started moving forward at an incredible pace (she really gets stuff done!). The board has been great with managing and supporting! This is what happens when you let teachers teach, let admin handle the way things need to be ran, and the board managing without micro-managing or ever letting politics get in the way. The majority of our students are transfer students from city schools which speaks volumes to how great this school is! Before moving to this district we lived in town and our kids attended a city school. The city schools have great teachers, but it seems like they are being held back or weighed down by rules and criteria. Oak Valley does not seem to have that type of push/pull. Oak Valley truly is All In from home, to classroom, to office, to board!

I have to say i respect all the opinions that are posted about oak valley.. Realistic as parents we have to start at home to make these students better.If the school fails so did we as parents.. School is only half the education the other half is done at home..By far oak valley ain't perfect and never will be, but it is as good ad we make it as parents..For all that don't like this school , try to be part of the solution .. When u complain you are just being part of the problem..if u think this school has failed ur child. That also means u have failed as a parent to make this place better , not only for your child but for all the students there..
