I’ve been in this district my whole entire education career. First and foremost, I’d like to bring up the topic of financial issues. In the recent years, I’ve noticed that this school is struggling with keeping up with their students and making sure that everything is up to date. Last year, they cut many staff members and there’s been a loss of custodians. Classes are getting cramped and there’s barely enough supplies to sustain a classroom. The teachers really try their best to put on a smile and do the best they can do to get things continuing. The whole school is crumbling apart but everyone is barely holding on to what’s left. This year, the school has gotten a lot stricter with their rules and enforcing multiple policies and rules like their recent bathroom and “no cell from bell to bell” Next of all, what I also noticed is the students and scholars there. What I love about Foster is the connects between each other and how everyone knows everyone else so from what I can see: Everyone is too tired to care. Yes, there’s scholars here and there giving their best shot; “Locking in” and actually focusing. Though, there’s this bad energy that surrounds this whole community and school. It has infected the staff, teachers, students, and everyone associated with Foster. Nobody has the passion or energy anymore and there’s nobody here that is able to give a us a “wake-up” call and get us to care any more. It’s sad but it’s unfortunately true. I hope one day things do get better, but I don’t see that happening any time soon. Nobody cares anymore and that truth hurts.

If your kid gets bullied here, none of the advisors or the principal will do anything about it. Even after you file a restraining order against the bully with the Tukwila Police Department. I have proof.

Bad school, disrespectful students and bullies. The teachers don’t care about anything either

I graduated from this school didn't my whole life in the school district.. I learned nothing from high school. They refused to let me rest out of classes that I knew about already and they miscalculated my credits the day before graduation I has to retake a class online in a day. I also has a teacher lose my binder and find it but still failed me so she wouldn't get into trouble.. rarely do you find some one that speaks English so you spend months catering to students who don't know English and don't have the opportunity to excel or even get past the basics... They didn't teach grammar until the 12th grade and they don't help you of you have a learning disability in some subjects. I will never send my child there I would home school him instead.

It is a terrible school. Teachers are rude, the nurse doesn't do her job well at all, and some students are annoying. The school is messy and discipline is very unfair. People only like the school because it is diverse. If you say ONE thing against the school, you're racist. The schooling system is unfair. The sad part is that it's slightly better than Showalter. Showalter is bad enough. Don't go to Foster or Showalter.

Very small, very quiet school. Test scores are so low because many of the students speak English as a second language. Never a fight, everyone gets along. Extremely low crime rate within school, though not around.
