    Absolutely love Henning elementary. The staff and teachers are extremely helpful and love all the kids. My son is special needs and he made huge progress. He went to Silvercreek elementary and now Henning Elementary and again the staff is amazing. This school district is the best in Madison County hands down. People from all over the state move here just for the school district. I highly recommend if you want the best education for your child. Note: My older son graduated Triad with honors and scholarship engineering in college. They did amazing job with him as well.Sincerely, Stephen B.

    Wish the teacher child ratio was lower. 27 Kids per class in 1st grade is too much, with no aid to help. A very young staff, which also means lots of maternity leave. This also means a lot less experience and having a harder time dealing with today's issues that children face. The school is very good with extra curriculum and has not cut any of the art/music and PE programs. They just changed over to the common core standards and the opinion is still out there.
