Great school! Always coming up with special things G’s for the students. And their PE teachers are AMAZING! New ways for the kids to stay active AND HAVE FUN! !

Scott Dual Language is a hidden gem in Topeka, KS. My daughter absolutely loves going to school every day and comes home talking about all the exciting things she did and learned while at school.

My child loves going to school each morning. I have seen so much progress in his learning and behavior. Teachers and staff have communicated so well with me. School events are well organized and announced with enough time to plan ahead. So glad my kiddo attends Scott!

We are so grateful for the dual language program and opportunities it offers our student. The staff genuinely care about the students and are invested in the education and well being of each child.

My experience with the school is amazing. They have wonderful staff and teachers that speak both languages, Spanish and english. Thats what makes our community be wonderful with everyone we all can communicate and everyones very friendly. The teachers classrooms are very neat and organized. My kids love every teacher they’ve had thru out the years.

En lo personal me encanta esta escuela, por que:*es bilingüe*tienen programas especiales para mi hijo que fue diagnosticado con autismo *no discriminan a mi hijo por ser hispano *el personal es muy amable *la directora es accesible *se contestan todas mis dudas y preocupaciones rápidamente *existe un hambiente lleno de respeto *mi hijo hizo una conexión muy especial con Ms Alba, la maestra de necesidades especiales*la manera de aprender es divertida *siempre nos mantienen informados como papás del progreso y necesidades de nuestro hijo *la escuela es muy limpia y segura *brindan las mismas oportunidades para todos *brindan terapia de lenguaje *tienen un salón sensorial*se adaptan a las necesidades especiales de mi hijo *los maestros siempre reciben con una gran sonrisa a los niños *mi hijo siempre regresa feliz de la escuela *se preocupan sinceramente cuando algo no está bien con mi hijo *los niños pueden decorar la escuela de ciertas temáticas *en la misma escuela le hicieron una evaluación a mi hijo y se detecto su autismo escolar*en las conferencias con los padres se respira un ambiente tranquilo, respetuoso y amigable *se adapta a mi idioma español y cuando tengo que comunicarme con un maestro que solo habla inglés, asignan a un intérprete, así nuestra comunicación no se trunca *tienen una página en Facebook donde puedo enterarme de los comunicados que hace la escuela y de algunas actividades que hacen los niños*a la hora de la entrada, siempre hay maestros vigilando que todos los niños estén seguros *los maestros ayudan a fortalecer valores y cualidades en los alumnos *en cuanto a temas personales de mi niño, siempre son discretos y existe privacidad. *las semanas festivas son muy divertidas y los maestros también participan *nos apoyan con dignidad a los papás que por primera vez tenemos que inscribir uno de nuestros hijos a la escuela, responden todas las dudas con amabilidad y ayudan cuando tenemos que llenar formularios que no entendemos * eliminaron todos mis miedos como mamá acerca de dejar a mi hijo solo en la escuela, ahora me quedo tranquila sabiendo que queda en buenas manos*cuidan las pertenencias de mi hijo y le ayudan a hacerce responsable y cuidadoso con ellas*nos permiten trabajar en equipo, maestros y padres. Trato de preguntar en que puede seguir trabajando mi hijo en casa de acuerdo a lo que hace en la escuela, así es más rápido su progreso*AMAMOS SCOTT PORQUE NO HAY MEJOR LUGAR PARA APRENDER Y CRESER

I have the children in the school, currently in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade. They have all attended since preschool, so we are in our 6th year family involvement with this school. My children are from an English speaking home. They are playing another language, but just as importantly they are leaning respect and acceptance for people with different backgrounds and cultures. They have supported my children through each of their unique struggles and all three are thriving because of the dedicated staff. I highly recommend this school and can not say enough positive things about it!

Estoy muy agradecida por la manera en que apoyan a quienes tienen alguna condición, mi hija tiene déficit de atención y ansiedad, junto con su psicologa ayudaron a que ella se sintiera más segura y abierta al aprendizaje muchas gracias!!! A mi hijo lo tratan con mucho cariño, eso con que se paga? No hay forma

Scott provides both teachers and students many ways to participate in creative teaching/learning through hands-on and varied activities. Students and teachers are fully supported by administration and involvement from parents and the PTO. It's a bright, fun, and interactive learning environment, where the students are cared for very much. The exposure to different cultures and dual language is highly beneficial in helping to create future community leaders and strong citizens.

My three kids go to Scott Dual Language Magnet and have since their kinder years. Now 11, 9 and 7 they have had the best education possible not only academically, but socially and culturally. By attending a school with such diversity, but staff and students, and strong focus on cultural exposure, my three kids have been lucky to continue developing their ability to have an open mind and an open heart, to treat everyone with respect, treat others like equals no matter who they are. They have been able to learn using both of their native languages Spanish and English. As a parent in a bilingual household, I truly value what Scott Dual Language Magnet offers my kids and many others giving families the opportunity and tools to continue cultivating our language, culture and values.

Many call Scott Dual Language School "the happiest place on Earth" because of its overall environment and interaction between students and staff. It's apparent as soon as you enter the school and when speaking to the students. The dedication to dual language learning, diversity, and appreciation for all cultures is demonstrated through both classroom instruction and all the fun events the school hosts for families. It's such a special place and a gift to the community.

Scott has become an amazing school the last several years. It was recognized as 3rd in the nation as a School of Excellence in Spanish and is now named the only International Spanish Academy. The commitment of the teachers to the students are like no other. If you would like for your student to get the highest quality of langauge experience in a positive setting. This is your place!
